A warm welcome when we arrived and an easy to understand one way system. The food was very nice & my favourite drink when driving Adam's Ghost Ship 0.5. I was also able to charge my car which is a bonus & actually how we came to be eating here.

We were a group of 10, staying in the village for the weekend, and were encouraged by good reviews, so visited on a Saturday evening. The menu sounded lovely, and everyone chose something they were happy with. The waitress explained they were short staffed, and apologised that we waited for our drinks. Main meals were nice, everyone was happy. We wanted pudding, but we weren't able to order for some time as the waitress didn't come back. We wrote down our order and took it to the bar. We had been told they needed our table by 8, so were conscious not to take too long. The waitress seemed reluctant to lay out the cutlery, worried that we wouldn't finish in time. Puddings arrived, which we finished quickly, feeling that we needed to rush. They were disappointing considering the price (£5.50 each). When we told the waitress, she said they were willing to take one thing off the menu, but not the rest of the puddings we were unhappy about. On this experience, we wouldn't return if in...

Friendly pub, they've really nailed the vibe of local and restraunt. Usually if it's a restaurant it ruins the local pub vibes and then becomes just a restraunt. This is on the contrary and they have been able to do both!

The barmaid and waitress were fantastic very friendly and welcoming and had great banter! They really made the experience 10 times better and I'm quite the miser, but I tipped £20 because I loved the service that much!

The local drinkers were nice and friendly directing me to the bathroom and usually there's a split as most locals hate what the pubs become when they become half restraunt but the bell in have hit the nail on the head.

The food was absolutely amazing the steak was cooked to perfection and the garlic mushrooms were to die for!

I would recommend this place not only for food but for a mad one with the lads as they have pool tables and banter. One of the best pubs I've...

Menu isn't to my liking nor is £16 for a wrap and £32 for a stake. But the reason I'm unhappy was because the new own likes to agree to something then go back on what we I actually spoke about to then be told they've only opened for me at 9am because I wanted breakfast and wouldn't open usually until 12 but the funny thing was on the way out there's a great big sign put out by the road saying breakfast served from 9am so Mr new owner I suggest you stop trying to pull a fast one, by making your customers feel they are in the wrong for getting you out of bed when it clearly says 9 a.m. breakfast served I had a really good evening until I had to deal with you in the morning with your childish behaviour. Because ultimately its resulted in...
