I spent a lovely 2 night spa break here recently for a hen do. It was such a lovely experience throughout. The cottage I stayed in was quaint and had absolutely everything you needed including a breakfast basket for each morning with lots of fresh local food to cook in our cute kitchen. I am gluten free and was very looked after, I was given alternative foods throughout my stay and the afternoon tea was beautiful, freshly made and delicious. The lunch portions were huge, in fact I couldn't eat it all! We were very lucky to have exclusive use of the pool whilst there from 10am til 5pm, which made the hen do feel even more special and the treatments from the spa were amazing. The ladies were very professional and I felt so at ease, such lovely treatments and the Elemis products smelt amazing. The spa and cottages are situated in a beautiful courtyard within the farm, however you wouldn't have known that from noise, it was peaceful and very quiet and in the day you could have a wonder around to see the chickens and horses. I had a beautiful stay and our little hen had the most amazing hen do! The ladies that managed/owned the farm were lovely, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. The cost of the break was definitely value for money for everything we received whilst there and the lovely experience. I will definitely be visiting again sometime, such a lovely place and a perfect break away! Thank you!

This is a beautiful place to stay as far as the environment is concerned. Very pretty, lovely old buildings and courtyard. Happy animals etc. However, the room we stayed in, The Tamworth, was very small. There were no long mirrors, nowhere to dry hair or do makeup. Nowhere to sit in the bedroom at all. Nowhere for cases or bags. Just very small. I was very disappointed too at the fact that they offer spa treatments on their website, even though it's through a different company, however, they said they weren't available when we were there. Why are you still claiming there are sp treatments available when they're not? When we booked this place, I was looking forward to a massage. Also, that should reflect the price surely? If you no longer have a facility, then please say so on your website and alter your prices accordingly.

Such a lovely and hospitable service. Beautiful surroundings and landscapes at Poppinghole Farm. The luxurious cottages are fully kitted out and have a homely feel. The spa has a relaxing ambience and all the staff are beyond lovely! They offer extensive knowledge and help a complete novice like me feel at ease during their services! Food was fantastic and portions were more than adequate! My now fiancé surprised me with a proposal in the cottage and when the staff found out, they generously offered their congratulations and gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! I will highly recommended this Spa Retreat and will definitely be coming back again in the near future. Many thanks to all the staff.

My birthday was put on hold this October due to Lifeboat duties as hubby is the mechanic and Hastings welcomed its new boat last month meaning any spare time was taken up, so hubby promised me something extra special. He delivered 110% this year! ||He booked us in for Friday to Sunday, we stayed in Saddleback and am definitely going back again! ||Welcomed by the owner when we arrived and good explanation of how everything works, including the pool and spa area. ||Facilities are fantastic, so much available, especially for if staying a whole week, with washing and drying facilities available too. |The cottages are decorated well, and very clean, they have everything you need for self catering, all good quality, we loved the colourful mugs! The bed was so comfy, the underfloor heating was great, and we spent the Saturday night in front of the fire, where you have as many logs available as you need.||Other than another couple there on the Friday night we saw no one, other than some stable staff, and so had the pool to ourselves the whole weekend which was fabulous as the aim was for a restful and relaxing weekend and we had just that. ||Hubby hadn't booked any treatments for me assuming id be able to book in on arrival, but they get busy, so book ahead. This will definitely be on my list of places to go with the girls for a weekend spa break and or return with hubby! ||Didn't want to come home as the weekend just went too quick! ||Made friends with some of the old farm dogs, who are very well behaved and whilst they came to the door to say hello, they didn't come in, my favourite was the black one that bless him/ her is a bit arthritic? One of my breakfast sausages did accidentally treat the woofer! ||Thank you for a great stay at your beautiful home and grounds, and sorry for knocking on the door when checking out, we didn't know whether we just left and left the keys in...

Visited with my friend for a spa day. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist, " and now you can relax" just the words I wanted to hear. We were shown to our private cottage which was amazing. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. With biscuits and organic apple juice ready waiting for us. We also had access to tea and coffee which we could make in the kitchenette there. We were shown around the pool and spa area, which luckily was for us was empty and we had use of this area all day. It consisted of a lovely warm swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a cooler plunge pool and lounging beds. Shower and toilet facilities also available in the pool area along with wonderful soft towels, robes and slippers, plus Elemis products for showering. Cold lemon water on tap plus a nice little touch of moist face pads and an Elemis toner to use. We had a delicious lunch and desert plus a glass of wine served to us in our cottage. We both said we wished we had put our deserts in the fridge to have after our treatments as the portions were more than adequate. Maybe something to consider next time. We both had a couple of treatments one of which was a full body massage. The therapists were very nice and did a wonderful job of making our visit most relaxing. Great treatments. I would definitely recommend a visit here, its worth every penny. This place is a little hidden gem of 5 star luxury in beautiful surrounding. Can't wait for my next visit!! Thank you all at...

I bought myself and my daughter a Bronze Spa Day for her 50th in June. I had to reschedule the original date owing to an operation on my hip, but this was done very courteously by the helpful and sympathetic receptionist. We have just had an absolutely wonderful day there, and will definitely return. We received a very warm welcome, and were shown to our delightful cottage in the courtyard, where we relaxed for a while and then went next door to the pool and spa. There were only two other ladies in the pool and jacuzzi, and we enjoyed using both before our hot stones massage. The therapists were really lovely, friendly and professional, and I can honestly say it was one of the best massages I've ever had. Then it was back to the cottage for lunch, which was delivered promptly and set up on the table for us, along with a very nice glass of chilled white wine. The portions were amazingly generous, and all of the food was totally delicious, and beautifully presented. After a leisurely lunch, we went back to the pool, which was empty, and after another swim, relaxed on the comfy loungers until it was time for our facial. This was just as good as the massage, and we were both walking on air when it was finally time to check out. The rural location is perfect; very quiet and peaceful with just the sounds of horses hooves clip clopping from the adjacent stable. My daughter and I wished that we were staying overnight, but maybe next time. I can't praise it highly...
