The Barn — Hotel in Rother

We hired the Barn for a weekend get away with our friends. 4 adults and 2 children in total. The whole booking experience was a delight, so helpful, approachable and friendly. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and the children were both so excited to see each other and also explore the Barn. It has everything you need, it is very clean just a short walk to Camber Sands Beach. The fire was so inviting at night with a glass of wine and nibbles, great place to catch-up with great friends. We will certainly be returning in the future and we have been recommending this place to many friends...

The Barn is a great space that has been lovingly converted - it's very well appointed but also has a bespoke sort of charm and bears evidence of the thought that's gone into it. Warm and cosy with a great burner, close to the beach, deck and garden sheltered from the wind.. room for improvement in the lighting (not much to read by though there's lots of good reading material) and be warned that the lovely loft / mezzanine bedroom gets very warm if you're running the wood burner, but it has a velux so not a major issue. We absolutely love staying at the Barn, it’s the second week long break that we have had there. The setting is beautiful and only a short walk from the sandy beach.
