Really , where do you start. Maybe it's only 49 quid for the night we were obliged to stay, but surely you can expect some level of cleanliness in the room. The smell is that of febreeze or some room spray masking a deep grubbiness. Dust covering every surface. Dirty tile grout with a topping of mould in the bathroom silicone. Surely some mould magic stuff would get rid of it in second . A lovely pile of crisps half swept under the bath panel, only blocked by a big ball of hair. Black mouldy limescale in the holes of the shower head. Can't open the window on the first floor so it's either boiling hot air con at 23 degrees or freezing cold air con at 22 degrees. If you turn the air con off you get the lovely smell of mouldy/blocked drains. Tea stains in the mugs . And to top it all off, the WiFi wasn't working and there is zero 4g signal. None of the above mentions just how tired and run down the whole place is. Paintwork that's when it's not marked or stained it's peeling. Just deeply deeply unpleasant and I am happy that I'll never have to use one again. I can only assume that anyone claiming it's clean must live in abject squalor

Had a couple of days showing my fiancée where I grew up and the surrounding areas! We spent a night at this Premier Inn and had a rather pleasant stay. All the members of staff that dealt with our needs from both the restaurant and the hotel were lovely and extremely helpful! The room was comfortable (the air-con however was not very strong at all so was a little struggle to be in the room and sleep easy with the heat!) plus the hotel was experiencing Wi-Fi issues when we arrived which wasn't ideal but could not be helped. Have to give a massive thank you to the chef who served us breakfast the following morning who made PERFECT poached eggs!! Best fry up we've had from a Premier Inn in quite some time! ♥️

Just booked in, talk about basically furnished room, double bed and office type chair. Asked the receptionist why there was no settee or comfy chairs in room that's the standard for a double room (wrong) stayed in the Premier Inn for years and never had this. The receptionist then said the manager is aware of this and more furniture is being ordered.....You can carry that chair from the reception area if you want 'Not My job to carry furniture around' I said. So lay on the bed it is☹️

The hotel side of things was absolutely fine, room was clean, reception staff friendly and welcoming. One thing I would say is they don’t seem to answer the phone an awful lot when calling in. Could have been the time of the year but it took 3 days of calling at least 3 times a day to manage to speak to someone. Morning, afternoon and evening.

With regards to the restaurant I really wouldn’t advise eating there… they had a very limited menu at the time of my stay but the service and food quality was very poor. On my first night we went to wait to be seated. A lady was clearing a table directly in front of the main entrance… saw me and continued to clear her table leaving me standing there for approx 5 minutes. I was actually sat by the member of staff who was working on the bar who took my drinks order. The drinks were then delivered by what I assume was a member of staff who had finished as they had a coat and backpack on, I was appreciative of this but wondered where the restaurant staff were as for the half empty restaurant there was around 4 staff I counted. Another reasonable wait later my order was taken and we were sitting right next to the pass so when food was ready I could sit there watching it under the heat lamps for about 5 minutes again… seems to be the speed to complete a task in the restaurant. What surprised me as the chefs put no pressure on wait staff to deliver food and servers kept disappearing around the back and were in no hurry to get the food out! Nobody table checked me, I had the chicken burger which was not nice, I left the coleslaw and half the burger and just ate the fries. The bun on the burger fell apart as I ate it, something that subsequently happened to my father that came two days later.I sat at the table with an empty glass for 10 mins before opting to go to the bar and order a drink myself.

Breakfast was ok.

From the first night I had order takeaways for the further 2 nights as to not have to deal with the restaurant. On the second to last day I opted to have lunch with my daughter and my father who had joined me. We sat in the bar as to not have to deal with the restaurant staff, I found bar staff more helpful and competent. He ordered a burger which was cold… it was taken to the kitchen and then was returned.. he asked the staff member if it had been microwaved because it quite clearly had been and they replied they didn’t know… you would hope that the answer would have been no as we don’t do that but unfortunately I think it’s clear that this may be the practice here.

I myself ordered the cheesy garlic flatbread- I got a wrap with melted cheese on… chicken wings and halloumi fries. The later 2 were very average but passable but 4 wraps with melted cheese on top for £5 I found outrageous!

For dinner my daughter had steak mash and beans for dinner and she enjoyed that on all occasions.. the steak looked good on all occasions and was cooked how we asked so I can not fault her dinner on any occasion.

In summary hotel is good, avoid eating...

Me and my friend booked a double with breakfast for the night on 27th March 25. The lift was out of service (wasn't declared) went to our room on the 1st floor (friend had schizophrenia very bad and had alot of luggage and struggled to take it up and my friend flipped cos of the problems we had so I had to handle my friend as well as struggling with luggage) when we got to our room tv didn't work (went without a tv all night and staff didn't have a cluel as what they where doing and wasn't bothered. Went to have a shower or bath (checked both) water wash luke warm. (Me and my friend had to have a wash cos the water wasn't suitable temperature to use the facility . They want to put us in anther room up on the top floor knowing it would of caused more pressure and stress on my friend without the lift working. They didn't help any further or any other help or suggestions, (staff wasn't bothered) staff was rude and havent got any customer skills. I won't be staying in this Premier inn again and make the public aware of this Premier inn in Swanley. I spoke to someone at head office they agreed to pay a refund and payed £32 out of the £86 in a refund. Now saying I agreed and excepted the £32 which the man we complained to didn't mention about the £32 and thought we was gonna get a full refund with all the problems cased but caused further problems by not paying the full refund. The staff is very unprofessional and shouldn't be working the job and my opinion didn't want to pay the full refund with the problems that was caused. The only thing that was nice during our stay was the breakfast . At to give 1* as i at to do a star to review but in my opinion it deserves 0 star Won't be staying in Premier inn...

This is only the second time we've stayed here & it most certainly will be our last.

We booked a twin zip & link double room for 1 night. Upon arrive we was greeted by a lovely, friendly & helpful young lady, sadly it went downhill from there.

Our room was not set up as a twin, however the receptionist did sort this for us. There were no cups or glasses, once again the receptionist sorted this for us.

Once settled & getting ready for bed we noticed that the bin in the bathroom still had the previous residents used make up removal pads & other items in it, also the bin in the main room which contained a flimsy plastic bag, had a hole in it therefore the previous residents used tea bags & paper were still in it, again not emptied/cleaned. When my husband went to use the bathroom sink in the morning he could not push the plug in, he discovered that a ten pence piece had been wedged in it as well as a one pence piece, when removed we could the see the gum, or whatever it was, that had been pushed down the plug hole, absolutely disgusting, all should have been checked & cleaned, eventually he was able to use the plug & shave. Also there was bits of plastic dotted around the room on the carpet, obviously this had not been hoovered. The overall impression of this room was that during changeover the bed had been done & absolutely nothing else. This room should not have been sold, it had not been cleaned at all, shame on you Premier Inn, definitely not what Lenny...
