We knew what to expect when we booked, inasmuch it would be located somewhere down a narrow Devon lane, and that is where it is. Nevertheless, Sat Nav Sally got us there without too much trouble, and we were well rewarded. Well appointed, spotlessly clean comfortable bedroom, access to a huge lounge/diner with leather sofa’s, good wi-fi and private parking. For breakfast there were numerous cereals provided as well as fresh fruit, yoghurts, juice, toast, jam & marmalade, coffee, tea and of course, the “Full English”. Being a vegetarian, my wife required an alternative, and poached eggs were duly provided. A family run B&B, the hosts, Catherine & Martin have lots of information about the local area, and along with their two children, you are made to feel “most welcome”, almost a “home from home”...

Foales Leigh Farm sits in the middle of truly beautiful and peaceful countryside. It is a wonderful and relaxing place to stay and the breakfast is top quality. Catherine & Martyn, the hosts, are warm, friendly & welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble & Catherine makes the perfect omelette! It’s a great location for exploring delightful destinations such as Dartmouth,Totnes, Salcombe & stunning beaches. Be sure to bring a sturdy, but not too large vehicle to tackle the narrow access lanes. Will definitely be returning, hopefully in the nit too...
