Bowtree House Bed And Breakfast — Hotel in South Kesteven

My partner and I booked in the bowtree house bed and breakfast for the one night on the recommendation of a friend and our hosts Claire and John couldn't have been more accomodating, warm & friendly than they were when they welcomed us into their family run business we were shown the dining area where we would have our breakfast in the morning and it just had this lovely homely feel to it and lovely sunny decor. We were shown to our room which on entertering was very tastefully decorated witch also had a warm homely feel to it and a beautiful modern on suite shower room, immaculately clean. The bed was a really good size, deginately king-size and there was a lovely little table for 2 in the room, a good sized wardrobe and drawers and a bonus was having double sockets either side of the bed for both lamps and charging your phone. We had the best nights sleep I've had in a long time and I could've stayed in bed longer if we didn't have to leave early that morning so just hopped in the shower (great water pressure, just how I like it) and reluctantly skipped having a breakfast but that is optional if you want one or not,we just didn't have time. I definitely will come again, for longer next time as Claire and John gave us some great recommendations for where to eat and what to do when we are here next time and I would highly recommend their lovely guest house to anyone without hesitation. I stayed here for work and this was in an ideal location for what I needed.

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome by Claire who covered off all the information for my stay, offering advice on where to eat and how to walk there. There is a take away a couple of minutes walk from the house and a CO-OP, but for a sit down meal, you are looking at 15-20 minute walk into Grantham, which was nothing and offered loads of choice.

I found the stay more than comfortable. I stayed in the green room, which was well decorated and very clean and tidy. I feel like all my needs were met in the room, with a table and chairs for working at as well as comfy chair for relaxing in. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of power sockets around the room. My only criticism of the room would be the size of the shower, which did feel a little cramped and anyone with a larger build may struggle. The bed on the other hand was massive and really comfortable,

Claire and Ian Armstrong were welcoming hosts, who were quick to extol the virtues of Grantham, despite the obvious setback of being the birthplace of Margaret Hilda Thatcher. Issac Newton has strong associations with the town.||The couple were very accommodating - nothing was too much of a bother. Bowtree House offers big savings when compared to local well-known overnight stay chains.||Bowtree House is in a convenient location - 15 minutes from Town Centre.|Our room was spacious, well equipped, clean and finished to a high standard.
