A really fantastic seven week stay at Owl Barn – a perfect and peaceful home-away-from home while working in Norwich over Christmas 2022. The barn was cozy and comfortable, and Lucy the most generous of hosts. Absolutely nothing to fault and very much hoping to stay again the next time work brings me to Norfolk. Can't thank Lucy enough for making me so welcome and comfortable. The barn itself was lovely, as were the views and the location in general. Lucy was the most accommodating host, but I always felt like I had plenty of privacy. The facilities were exactly as described, with nothing broken or worn out. An absolutely perfect stay. Thanks so much! :)

We have just experienced a wonderful two night stay at this lovely B&B. The owner, and her dogs, greeted us kindly. We were able to enjoy fantastic breakfasts which catered for both my vegetarian, and my hungry omnivore husbands diets. If we are ever in the area again, we will most definitely be returning!

Very poorly signed once driven up the drive, no signs to say where to go or what building you stay in. First impressions when walked into our room was 'pretty' until you start taking a close look around..

the kitchen, fridge was switched off and FILTHY all black stuff everywhere, all in the door trays and shelves, the odd cutlery your left with was sticky, finger prints all over, the microwave was dirty inside.

The bedroom...cobwebbs everywhere every corner, hanging off all the wooden beams, in the bathroom. The flat wooded headboard on the bed was THICK with dust and hairs.

In the morning it was very cold so we turned our radiators on but they had been turned off so was left with a cold room, the WI-FI had been turned off in the morning too and we knew about this bcos we used it the previous night with no problems and we also checked the switch and someone had come and turned everything off including the fridge which still contained our food and drink but we never got told.

Breakfast was okish but wasnt brilliant asked for scrambled egg but got given sloppy orange egg which CLEARLY wasnt scrambled, very undercooked. On our departure noone spoke to us but yet they...

I've stayed in the Owl Barn during the whole of February for the last 3 years. Not only us the price very reasonable, especially as I bring my dog and there's often a big surcharge, but the place is so comfortable, clean, warm, bright and just so lovely. The kitchen has everything you need not just for a short stay, but for entertaining too. |The living area is great, the bathroom is really nice (even to wash the dog!). The Master double bedroom is enormous, and I set myself up as my office (the gigabyte internet is amazing). |Outside is a small patio and garden, but the dog was allowed to run around on the lawn next to the barb too .||Most of all, the couple who run the place are so nice, Lucy couldn't be more helpful, and Eric always helps out if he can, even walking my dog because of my physical health.||They are your best friends, and couldn't do more to help you out. ||My best wishes to Lucy and Eric, and please book and enjoy your stay at this...

They are your best friends, and couldn't do more to help you out.

My best wishes to Lucy and Eric, and please book and enjoy your stay at this...
