The lower Drayton farm doubles both as a playpen for kids and animal farm located in Penkridge, Stafford. It’s a great place to take your kids to as they get to both see the animals on the farm and play ground provided by the farm especially on weekday when they get to ride on the tractor. Then if you’re lucky, you could get to go home with the farm produce. Expect tulips, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, corns fresh from the farm to make your day when you get on the ride. There are cafes on site and hands down sold one of the best icecream I’ve ever tasted. Just been pumpkin picking absolutely disgraceful, we've been going for years BUT won't be going again -its £16 pounds each which includes 1 large pumpkin, a parsnip, 4 carrots 8 potatoes per person , obviously the kids put in extra and I was prepared to pay but the pumpkins were small, they charged me a £1 for a beetroot, £ 3 each for tiny pumpkins you should be ashamed Lower Drayton, no tractor ride which was supposed to be included the waste pipe in the toilet was broken so there was waste on the floor. We have had the most enjoyable day pumpkin picking, however, the tickets were rather expensive and we did not get the tractor ride due to illness. This was a major factor in us booking and we were all disappointed.
