This isn't like being in a BnB, it's like staying with friends who want to make your visit the best possible experience you can have! Lucie, Charles, the girls, and the dogs welcome you with such warmth and good humour, I didn't want to go home. The view from the window is amazing, everything is beautiful and clean. The house itself, due to it's age, has many unique quirks - like the floor in my bedroom that slopes, and the creaks in the floorboards! It adds to the charm, although if you're over 6' you'll need to watch out for the beams. Sitting in the garden I could feel myself relaxing, listening to the birds and smelling the honeysuckle, and the gentle sound of the brook flowing behind me. Idyllic, yes. Would I go back?...

A couple of comments:|Could do with a wardrobe, or hooks and coat hangers in both the bedroom and bathroom (we were in the twin room). |Could do with a blind or curtains in the bathroom - it looks directly onto the back garden and the house’s outdoor seating area.|We stayed two nights, had excellent recommendations for pubs for both nights. The second night, our hosts were also out and left us a front door key which was great. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice view across open fields.
