We purchased a Holiday Home here at Oaklands holiday park in 2019, nice park but we was heavily disrupted twice with our defective new caravan which had a twisted chassis, then they decided our was plot was non compliant with the fire regulations as they had put us too close to a Caravan next door, although another caravan was on this plot for 18 years and nothing was said, all this within in 3 years, also far too many rule changes every other month enforcing rules which are not even in the holiday park rule book, seems to be a habit of upsetting too many owners as they just won’t let you settle and enjoy your retirement or holiday home. Has a good General Manager, Sales team, Staff in reception along with Maintenance, and our new club/complex Manager. Clean site, dog friendly well behaved of course. Does have it's faults at times but can always be sorted out. Entertainment Saturdays/Bank Holidays and other events through the year are put on when possible by our General Manager and Owners. Read moreDo NOT purchase a holiday home on this site. It will cost you £1000's in depreciation in only a few months. I paid £31k only to be offered £13k less than 2yrs later. My neighbour paid over £80k and when illness struck this elderly couple within a year where left in tears at being offered only £24k. The site is very poorly run by weak management on a day to day basis. However bar and entertainment staff have always been great, as have the sales team.
