We have just returned from a stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast and we have to say it was superb! After a long, windswept walk along the coast path , we received a warm welcome from Claire and Paul, and a delicious home made cream tea.|The room was beautifully appointed, with lovely extra touches, such as fresh milk in a fridge concealed in the wall! Home made biscuits, and a variety of teas and coffees were provided, and comfortable chairs.|The beds were also really comfortable, and the bath was so quirky- fuschia pink and very luxurious!|The breakfast the next morning was absolutely wonderful. We could request what we wanted from a long list of options, and the cooked breakfast was done to perfection. We also had a lovely granola, yoghurt and berries, fresh fruit, home made apple cake and croissants, home made breads and marmalades, juice and cereals. We were so impressed!|Paul and Claire are a lovely couple, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was close to some beautiful coastal walks, and we have already decided we shall be returning again to explore more of the area, and sample some more of the wonderful...
Read moreClouds Bed and Breakfast was day 2 of the Cornwall Coast walk. After an exhausting but exhilarating day of walking we arrived at Stoke in the late afternoon. Clouds is situated inland from Hartland Quay. Claire was waiting for us, plied us with homemade goodies and made us feel quite at home. The Room had tea and coffee making facilities with a small fridge in the room. Breakfast was outstanding consisting of local and handmade produce as was the packed lunch we ordered to take with us on the longest day of walking that we would do on this coastal walk. ||Very peaceful and relaxing, no noise and a great night's sleep. My girlfriend and I stayed in the detached studio apartment in the garden which had a lovely view, very comfortable bed, decent shower and a nice log fire. ||We were given a complimentary cream tea upon arrival!
