Like all Premier Inn's, the room was clean and welcoming, with a very comfortable single bed (shame this wasn't made up ready but no big deal as bedding was under the bed). Reservations for dinner were crucial as it was very busy and we were squeezed in at 6.30. The fish and chips were okay, though the fish was a little cold and I'm not sure why the tartare sauce was served in an egg cup! The pie was quickly scoffed, which I took to be a good sign. The onion rings were super, very crispy. I had to wait a good 15 mins or so for my glass of red, due to how busy they were, which they apologised for and took it off the bill. Breakfast was just as busy, with many tables needing cleaning but staff shortages meant that some tables were not cleared over an hour after breakfast. The business of the restaurant also meant that there was a wait for the buffet to be refilled. The sausages and bacon were appreciated as were the warm pain au chocolat. The veggie sausages could have been cooked a little more but the veggie bacon was good. Overall, I would stay again as the location is very good and the staff, though very busy, were helpful and accommodating. August 2025 It is obviously a very popular hotel as breakfast was very busy, and they didn't seem to refill the buffet after 9.30. However, staff were incredibly friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be served a dish that resembles a toddler’s weaning menu rather than a Thai delicacy, look no further than the Premier Inn in Warwick. I ordered what was described as a “Green Thai Curry” – which apparently translates to a scoop of plain rice, a couple of weary carrot slices, and the crushing disappointment of false hope. The curry sauce? Nonexistent. The spice? Missing in action. The flavour? Still being searched for by a crack team of culinary archaeologists. But the entertainment didn’t stop at the food. The restaurant itself resembled a live episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Diners were left waiting, waitstaff looked genuinely startled by the concept of serving food, and the atmosphere could only be described as “chaotic optimism” – the kind where everyone’s hoping for the best while watching everything fall apart. A nearby father tried to raise a complaint, only to be met with a level of indifference that should be studied by sociologists. The staff were clearly overwhelmed and appeared to be operating on vibes alone. In summary: if you’re craving Green Thai Curry, this place will deliver… but only if your benchmark is “baby food with ambition.” Bring snacks, patience, and a good sense of humour.

Terrible stay. Don't expect Premier Inn customer services to be any better if you need help resolving an issue. Book somewhere else, anywhere else! Useful for Warwick Castle, but if you've got kids, be prepared to go and get food somewhere else at the last minute. Place was a shambles when we arrived. Not enough staff, they closed the restaurant just before we were due to sit down because staff hadn't turned up. One of the guys who had turned up was really helpful with advising places to go to get food though. Turns out the duty manager had gone home early and left the guys on site to deal with it all. We'd booked a meal deal and for breakfast we were told the chef hadn't turned up so only continental was available but we'd be refunded for the whole breakfast amount. We were also told we'd be refunded for the dinner too. 2 days later and no refund, have waited 20 mins on the phone to be told we'd only get a refund for dinner as we had breakfast. Asked to speak to someone who could approve any type of discretionary refund. The lady went on hold, came back and said management said no. Not even willing to speak to me directly.

I wish I had read the recent reviews before I'd booked this and had time to re-arrange. My experience was predominately consistent with those of recent reviews this year. I'd paid for early check in, which is 'from 11am', but having driven nearly 3 hours to get here and keen to check in to be able to rest ahead of the evenings events, sadly 'No rooms were available'. The hotel was full - this was understandable, The Pet Shop Boys were playing Warwick Castle that night, and the hotel had fans and the tour crew (stage-hands etc) staying. This is where I would have thought some joined up thinking would have been deployed, maybe keeping some rooms aside in order to manage the over-lap. Premier Inn obviously just pack em in, and leave the poor staff to handle the problem. So, I'm left in reception, like a lemon, with others, effectively waiting for people to check out at 12pm before the rooms could be cleaned and I could get in. To add insult to injury, people coming in after me, who had also paid for early check in, were given a room when it became available before me. It turns out the person in my room had checked out, but for some reason known only to themselves, left all their belongings in there. A call to head office to get permission to collect it all up, before cleaning could take place. I eventually get into my room about 1.45pm. |To his credit, the poor guy on front desk handled the situation as best he could, and couldn't have been more apologetic. He deserves a pay rise for the problems he is left to deal with based on Premier Inn's policies. The room was clean, and the bed VERY comfortable. |Around 2.30pm, while trying to have an afternoon nap, housekeeping knocked on the door, opened it and came in. There are no 'do not disturb' tags to hang on guests door handles, so this was somewhat alarming. Suffice to say, I didn't end up having a nap. The rooms seem soundproof from exterior noise, but guests closing their doors regardless of the floor could be heard all the time. The hotel itself looks a little shabby in places - it's clearly in need of an upgrade, and some more staff. |Thankfully, I'd read reviews about breakfast, so got there at 2 minutes past 7am just after it opened. I waited to be served, despite all the roadies walking past telling me 'just go in mate' which I thought was pretty disrespectful. Despite this, breakfast was fine - plenty of food, nothing ran out, and was up to usual Prem Inn standard. |Housekeeping knocked on the door again about 10:30am asking if the room could be cleaned but were happy for me to stay until just before check out at 12pm. |I had no issues with parking - there was plenty of space when I arrived and car park seemed two thirds empty when I checked out. In terms of location its an easy 30 minute stroll into the town centre. Felt perfectly safe walking on my own at 11.30pm walking back. |Would I stay here again? Only if I had no other choice but honestly, Premier Inn, sort out your room booking capacity issues. Your staff are a credit to the brand at this hotel, they did what they could under ridiculous...

We spent a lovely day at Warwick castle to then arrive at our hotel knowing that our meals were payed for and our rooms were ready to then be told there is no tables available for us to eat. However we were THEN told that we could eat at 8pm.Surely they would have reserved our table considering we had already payed and ordered meal deals?

We then went to our room to find only a double and 1 single bed even though we Booked a family room so there should have been two single beds.We informed the staff strait away around 5:30pm.We did not get another bed until 11pm.This was also for a 9 year old who needed to sleep and who had not eaten due to an awful night at the restaurant...

First thing is just DO NOT go to this restaurant as you will just be waisting your time! Firstly we ended up not getting our table until 8:30 so it was 30 minutes late than they said.As you know we were told the restaurant was fully booked however when we were seated there were many tables that were not filled. There was only around 3 or 4 staff members so they were massively understaffed which you can only blame the management for. They took well over 20 minutes to even come and take our order. We then waited nearly an hour JUST to get our drinks! We then finally got our starters however they only brought out 2 instead of 3.Then 1 minute into eating my starter they brought out my main meal when they still hadn’t even brought out the other starter. They then brought out another burger which we had ordered however it had salad and coleslaw even though we asked for no salad and coleslaw. They then brought out 3 fish and chips although we only ordered 1.They then admitted that the food was microwaved. If we wanted a microwave dinner we would have ordered one the food then got taken away. For the rest of the evening we did not receive any more main meals. As you know we had a 9 year old who had not eaten and is also on many medications which she hadn’t taken as she wasn’t able to eat.We also had someone who is diabetic and had injected at 7:30 and still hadn’t eaten at 10:30.There we’re many staff and customers who walked out and many customers who were also complaining. They then had to close the kitchen however they did bring out a main meal for one of us to eat but it wasn’t anything which we had ordered. One man them cooked some chips for us as no one except me had actually eaten.A couple of the staff were crying as they had no idea what to do because the manager would never show his face.We were told a manager would be here in the morning who could refund us.

This morning we received a refund for all the food and complimentary breakfast. We had an awful stay here and it is clear that this place has gone downhill in the...

Everything was a little lacking. The worst part was how little sleep I got, which is the one thing you generally want from a stay. The room was far too hot for me; the air conditioning is programmed not to go below 19° but that’s way too warm for me to sleep comfortably. I called reception three times through the night and was reassured that the air conditioning in my room could and would be switched back on. It may have been, but it didn’t feel any different. The second person I spoke to, at about 3am, was more helpful than the first. She offered to switch my room if the air con still didn’t make it cooler, but I didn’t want the upheaval of switching rooms when I’d be getting up at 7am anyway, plus it would’ve meant giving the housekeeping team an extra room to clean. |One suggestion would be to have electric fans available for guests to borrow for their stay, please. I’ve seen this done in other Premier Inns and Travelodges before. ||When we arrived for our stay, we were told that the restaurant was closed due to staff shortages. I know this can’t be helped, but it was the first of lots of disappointments. |The TV in my room was old and many channels didn’t work. The remote was painful to use - taking upwards of ten seconds just to change channel. Again, I know these are first world problems, but it’s not what you expect when you’re a paying guest. |The night was very disturbed, as I’ve said. The next morning, I went down for breakfast and met my mother and her partner. They, thankfully, had a good night’s sleep. When we went up to the buffet, there was a lot missing, including plates. We waited a little while and, after 5 minutes or so, had a lovely breakfast that was cooked very nicely. The staff shortage must have continued into the next day, because it was difficult to find someone when we needed something. The coffee machine ran out of milk, so a young member of staff filled it up from the jug of milk on the counter (for cereals, etc.), which was fine for a while, but he then didn’t refill the jug of milk so there was another wait for other guests who were waiting to eat their cereal! ||All in all, the staff were friendly if quite lacking in training and service. It felt as though they were all feeling the effects of not having enough support through being short-staffed. I didn’t ask how long it had been the case, but it seemed as though it wasn’t a new problem. ||If I were to stay in the area again, I think I’d try to book a different hotel over staying at...
