Beechwood Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Wealden

Well I don't often take the time to write reviews, but when somewhere is truly outstanding I feel it is only fair to share. So my wife and I had just one night at Beechwood, but to say we wished it was longer would be something of an understatement. The accommodation, hosts and breakfast were all of the highest standard. Our room was bordering on the opulent it was so well furnished and decorated. Carol and Kerry struck a perfect balance of friendly and attentive with professional and unobtrusive. The breakfast choices were everything you might expect at a 5 star hotel, but made personally just for you. My wife had fresh fruit and cereal followed by a perfect omelette, and I couldn't help myself and had some cheese and a full English. Yummy. Would I go back? In a heart beat. Would I recommend Beechwood as a place to stay? Yes, especially if you want to spoil yourself a little. We will definitely go back. Ceri and Carol were the kind of hosts you wish for. Inviting, friendly and with a 'how can we help' attitude. There was plenty of parking and the room was amazing. Well lit and ventalited with a huge en suite bathroom (Emerald). On arrival Ceri asked if we would like a tea or coffee and although we had facilities in the room, brought us up a lovely coffee. We we're left to our own devices and given the keys. In the morning, there was more breakfast variety than in many large hotels and after a bowl of cereal the cooked breakfast was fantastic. Simply the Best B&B!!! We cannot put into words how much we enjoyed being at Beechwood B&B cottage and the hospitality… Carol and Ceri are wonderful hosts, ensuring we had everything we wanted, who make you feel so welcome and 'at home'. Excellent quality B&B. Very comfortable bedroom with high quality furnishings and decoration. Everything was spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast which was cooked by Carol and Ceri. It was served in the front room of the house and we sat in a nice spot by the windows, looking at the beautiful garden. We had a wonderful stay here and would most definitely recommend.
