Amazing place to visit. Having four kids, three cats and a dog, my wife and I really needed a break from the usual trappings of the world. This place gave us that. From the amazing hamper that you receive when you arrive (with great local produce) to the little touches elsewhere in the tree-house, you just felt the luxury.
Although you are not far from the main house and other residents, you wouldn't know it. You feel completely private. We didn't venture far as our wish was to experience the tree-house rather than it's surroundings. The more you walked cross it the easier it got. The secret is not to bounce too much. Inside extremely well appointed with the lovely welcome pack and very warm and cosy. Ensuite facilities and pretty good kitchen. Lovely fields at the back to walk or run through and about a third of a mile away from the back door is a kind of outward bound adventure area. The owners display a note apologising for being forced to remove items such as games, maps etc because of Covid safety measures - but never mind that: it's near-perfect without.
