To start of Amandine and Vic were so responsive and helpful in the lead up to the stay, they have us numbers for local taxis as well as restaurant recommendations including the distance from the airbnb.
The living room area is so spacious with lots of natural light making for a perfect communal area for the whole house. The bedrooms are cozy with some of the most comfortable beds. There are two fireplaces in the living room that are extremely easy to start with all the necessary equipment along with a sonos system for surround sound music.
The kitchen has all the essentials including large serving plates for big dinners as well as a Nespresso machine.
The sauna and jacuzzi are extremely clean and relaxing after a cold day out and come with a beautiful view of the countryside.

Our stay at Castle Hill Cottage was absolutely incredible. The photos don’t do it justice! The house is beautifully designed, offering a warm and cozy atmosphere perfect for our group of 12. From the spacious common areas to the charming fireplace, every detail made us feel at home.
The hosts were fantastic, ensuring everything was perfect and responding quickly to any questions. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience.
And the views—simply breathtaking! While you can’t wake up to them, you can soak them in from the sauna, which was an unforgettable highlight of our stay.

We had a fantastic time with three families at Castle Hill Cottage.
As we arrived at night, the lights were switched on for our arrival and we felt so welcomed.
The space is beautiful with lots of corners for everyone to enjoy some peace and quiet if they wish or just to be all together around the sofas by the fire place.
Each room is personal and very nicely designed. The duvet are very comfy.
No need to bring your soaps & shampoos; all is provided in beautiful refilled bottles.
We enjoyed the jacuzzi as well as the sauna. And we were even lucky to have lunch outside in the sunshine (in mid November!).
The views are stunning. It felt like a holiday.
