We are on vacation in Michigan partially to find a place to spend summers away from hot weather back home. We were excited to visit this park. Back in February we went online to fill out their form, but never heard back from them and tried to call several times but no one answered the phones. While we were in town we stopped by to look the park over and to see if they had any vacancy, which they said they did. They said they could make it happen until they found out that our coach was a 2005 Monaco Signature, then they declined our stay. It is a high end class A, that looks new. Even due to its age it is worth more than many of the Fifth Wheels staying at the park. We have run into that other places but once they looked at the coach it wasn’t a problem. I understand wanting to keep out cousin Eddie, but they carry it too far.||It seems to me that they are really not interested in renting out lots, just selling them. If an owner wanted to add their lot to the rental list, I don’t think they would rent it out much. My feeling is that they don’t like pets, children and they seem pretentious. We will keep looking elsewhere, real...

Appeal-5-One of the prettiest RV resort we have ever stayed at.

Amenities-4-we were in a 42 foot motorhome in spot number 177. It was basically across from the office. The Internet never worked. Other than that, we were here in mid-September and the pool and hot tub‘s were already shut down for the season. Most RV resorts leave their hot tubs open up until closing days.

Access-5-Beautiful long winding driveway to access the resort. Impeccably maintained , beautiful landscaping and ponds.

Sites-5-all sites were long, wide, and spacious. There was some landscaping between each spot to help divide it. All of the utilities were in the correct place, which I can’t say for most other RV parks.

Area-5-grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and sightseeing are all very close by. You can be in Traverse City Harbor in less than 10 minutes. My only problem with this place is the traffic is horrendous, even in the off-season.

Dogs-5-There are lots of green areas for your dog. We travel with a very large golden doodle, who is off leash trained. There are fenced dog parks and plenty of other green areas were playing...

Our second time at this resort and it is beautifully landscaped and the sites are all easily accessed. I would give them 5 stars if not for the issue below:

The staff was very polite but lack an understanding of all-electric coaches. During our stay we experienced multiple power losses when the 50A pedestal breaker would trip well below its setpoint. When I asked staff to investigate the problem I was immediately asked how many A/C units I was running. They tried to tell me that I couldn't run three A/C units on a 50A service. I was also told that other coach owners understand this and limit their power use accordingly. I explained that no coach owner wants to be told they cannot operate their coach as it was designed, but they didn't understand. Apparently somebody has told them to deal with this problem by deflecting the issue away from the campground power being the issue. All they had to do was replace an obviously failing breaker and we would have had no problems as the voltages I observed were never below 112V and i was never drawing more than about 38...

The best service all around. Instantly greeted, they moved our trailer FOR US to their "storage lot", gave us all our papers and information, and answered all questions. The lots are stunning. They have sheds on the lots so you can definitely keep bikes, grills, or whatever in there. The ponds are so peaceful with turtles, ducks and all kinds of birds to watch. Swimming pool, laundry building, and fitness center with showers. A meijer right down the road. Always peaceful and quiet here. 100% love this place every time we come.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved our stay. People are very friendly and there are planned activities that the residents AND guests can attend and participate. We had so many wonderful conversations and met many new people from all over the country. The only thing keeping me from rating 5stars is the poor wifi. We couldn't even use it. Very surprising for such a great place. But otherwise, it was a perfect long weekend and we will definitely visit again!
