Leafy Oaks RV Park exceeded all my expectations during my recent stay. The onsite store was impressively well-stocked, providing everything I needed without having to leave the campground. The laundry and shower facilities were spotlessly clean, a testament to the high standards of maintenance upheld by the staff.
Speaking of the staff, they were exceptional. From the maintenance crew to the friendly faces at reception, everyone went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and safe environment. The grounds were beautifully maintained, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation.
Safety was a top priority here, which was reassuring. As a dog owner, I appreciated how dog-friendly the camp was, with ample space for walking and playing with pets.
One of the standout moments was when I faced a medical emergency during my stay. After being released from the hospital, the owner and staff were incredibly supportive and accommodating, making sure my recovery period was as smooth as possible. Their compassion and assistance were invaluable during a challenging time.
Leafy Oaks RV Park's proximity to Cedar Point was another bonus, making it convenient to enjoy the attractions nearby while still enjoying a peaceful campground setting.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Leafy Oaks RV Park and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-maintained campground with outstanding...
Read moreWas really looking forward to staying here after reading all the great reviews, but was so disappointed. First, when we arrived there was limited space to park and took 20 min to check in. The people in office prioritized selling snacks to a group of kids rather than checking us in at 10 pm. When we finally got to our site, as we as pulling in, a pair of golf carts came speeding around the hill and almost hit our truck with 2 kids in it. Not even a sorry was given. They were very rowdy and loud. After hooking up we realized that the 30 amp outlet wasn't working, when pushing on the plug to make sure it was seated I saw arcing inside the box, needless to say that was the last straw and I called for a refund and we left. The two sites that we were between had gravel and ours was all dirt with a bunch of bark and wood chips in a random pile. Roads were pretty tight getting in and out with my 32' trailer. They definitely prioritize their seasonal site holders over weekenders and...

We loved this campground. It's small with no frills but very quiet, peaceful, and fun. There are hiking trails, a fishing pond, playground, and a swimming pond. There are weekend activities including a live band on the Saturday that we were there. The swim pond is just for swimming and is very clean. The kids loved it. Our site backed up to the pond, which was very handy. The shower house and bathrooms are centrally located and a short walk from all areas of the campground. The only reason I took a star off was due to the bathrooms. The toilets were clean and smelled nice. The shower house was probably the worst I have seen. They work if one really needs to shower but not for the faint of heart. The staff is so nice and helpful. There is trash pick up daily and recycle bins on all the overnight sites and scattered throughout the grounds. We enjoyed our stay and will...
