The Pointe at Adams Ridge — Hotel in Adams Township

When I first moved in the pool was ALWAYS clean. Now it’s absolutely DISGUSTING. Bugs, hair, leaves, dirt, sand, etc, are all throughout the pool and I go there almost every day and I never see an improvement on it being clean anymore. Last year it was always clean but this year it might’ve been cleaned ONCE, but not since because it’s disgusting and not only that, but it’s also FREEZING COLD to the point I can’t even get in unless it’s 90 degrees outside. I see the heaters but they’re never on so turn them on! I’ve only seen them on once this year so far and that’s ridiculous.

The staff is also pretty bad. I’ve never had problems with any of the security guards but the ladies at the front desk and the cleaners aren’t pleasant people to be around. The male cleaner always yells at my friends and I for “making a mess” when WE DONT. I always make sure we don’t leave a mess and he yells at us every time he sees us. Just because I’m a teenager doesn’t mean I leave the mess. I deserve respect just like all of the other residents do. The male cleaner should also learn how to knock. When most people knock the knock and then WAIT a couple seconds for a reply but NO he couldn’t wait, he just barged right into the bathroom while I was changing into my bathing suit with my friends and he saw me STARED and then walked back out and I felt very uncomfortable. The ladies at the front desk give my friends and I dirty looks every time I walk into the clubhouse as well. Everyone deserves respect and it doesn’t matter...

My wife and I moved to the Pointe in 2017 and we were there from 2017-2021 to 2022-2025. This place used to be held up to their standards etc. As we have exited and will never return to the pointe, I want to put why and a legit review. So when you sign a lease here you should have access to amenities. Good luck with that, the clubhouse is constantly closed and has been for about 10 months now. Want to use the gym nope, movie theater room doesn't even work. Then let's talk about if you want to get anything worked on at the place. We put in constant work orders if anything needed repaired. Josh is their maintenance guy and he picks and chooses what he does. We went from 2023 through 2024 without seeing him once. Good luck getting any work order done and its their responsibility. The place is not being upkept to their standard and finally the icing on the cake. Most places don't require you to put several thousand dollars down as a deposit but they do and we got a few hundred bucks back. We reported all the damages etc. When we first moved in and I guess that doesn't matter to these people. I would have recommended this place to anyone from the years 2017 through 2022 but now, I wouldn't bother. So glad they kept 90% of my deposit on wear and tear stuff that was there before and we didn't do...

The pool used to be great, now its disgusting! It definitely has not been cleaned since it was opened up, there is dead bugs infesting the water along with hair and other gross things. Someone threw up in the pool and not once since then have i seen someone go there and clean it up, ig there assuming that the filters will fix it, WRONG. Not sure the filters have been changed for years and i dont think there doing anything for the pool.

Along with the pool the ladies at the front desk are so rude to teenagers treating them like children and not allowing them to use the movie room without peace! The janitor wont let the door be locked for the teenagers but they will for other residents. He will yell at them for locking it and then randomly open it and stare at them and not say a word then slam the door shut.

This place has been going downhill this year and its not worth the kind of serivce im paying for....
