I love living here. The owners are very nice, they keep the place mowed and looking nice. They aren't discriminatory at all AND I just found out we can have our mail sent there! Yes there are highway sounds but that's to be expected considering it's location right off the interstate 🙄 and the dirt roads there are WAYY better than the super long dirt road to a certain other RV park out near Hartford, THAT one is treacherous between the dirt road that's in terrible shape and a huge great Dane that's sometimes runs around on the longest stretch of road. I do not recommend that one. Anyways, I needed to buy some little solar lights to illuminate the burn pit because it gets pretty dark there, and the first time I took my dog for a walk, he yanked me through that little patch of grass and I completely forgot about the burn ring, the whole thing is invisible in the dark, and I found it with my shins. Thankfully there were no hot coals. The lights help prevent more embarrassing falls. Staying at long as they'll have us. Hopefully we will be able to move to a different spot...

Very pretty and the owner is nice but this isn't the place for a one night as you're traveling through. It appears they are working to make it a unique camping experience. For traveling RVers, it's a bit pricey for just electric and the sites could use some leveling. They have water to fill your tank but have garden hoses hooked up to it rather than freshwater hoses. The dump is on a hill on a single lane gravel drive that is also the entry and exit to the park. Luckily, we had enough water on board to spend the night and we chose to dump at the next available dumpstation or our next campsite. There's about two miles of dusty gravel road that you have to travel to get to the park and you are close to the expressway. We live near planes, trains and the interstate so we weren't bothered by the noise. If you have time for the experience, it is a pretty place. Additional note: When we arrived and saw it was a Good Sam park, the owner said he would credit us the discount. It's a couple days later and I haven't...

Disappointed that the tree tent could not ascend as the mechanism needed to raise and lower it was broken, which was not indicated at booking. The tree tent was why we stayed at this site. Also, there are multiple holes in the tent and the location is near a brook, so lots of bugs and mosquitoes. Luckily it is fall and we had bug spray. The tent was not ready when we arrived, but the owners vacuumed it out and put on a sheet on the mattress once we checked in. The tent is spacious and comfortable considering its size. The town of Earlham is very small and there is not much to do. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. Downtown consists of a small store, bar and grill, a couple of boutiques, a coffee shop, and a plant store. There is a Casey's gas station before the campsite, which is convenient. Overall, the grounds are nice and the town folk are friendly. The campsite is close to the Highway and you can hear the traffic noise from where the tree tent is located. Nonetheless,...

Well Dave and Brenda were very kind and we were greeted by Colby the sweetest 18 year old kitty ever! We stayed at a primitive site that was beautiful! Plenty of privacy and very VERY clean!!! I do not like some shower experiences camping as some places are not respected by the campers and not kept up as well by the campgrounds. THIS is an exception!!! One incredibly clean and brand new looking shower without a yukie curtain and drain. It was the BEST shower experience while camping ever. The pool was wonderful and clean! They have plans for expansion and they will be terrific!!! GREAT HIDDEN GEM!!!

Just got here last night. Beautiful campground. The 2 people that checked us in help me back up my 5th wheel. We have electricity but if you want water you have to fill your tank which can be done right at your site from a long hose and you have to dump your tanks when you leave since the sites don't have sewer hookups. You can hear the highway pretty good. Saying all that doesn't make me want to take a star away. If your into primitive camping the tent sites look great also. Shower house is very clean!
