Review is based on Tent Camping experience only because that's what we did.
Pros:
Great clean showers included in your reservation. They are pre-set on 1 temperature. So it's simply on/off. Individual stalls with hooks and a bench.
Laundry located at the bath house. $2.00 for wash & $2.00 to dry. Coins only.
Quiet RV campground
Pool was being remodeled while we were staying.
Felt safe and not concerned about security.
Friendly and accommodating hosts.
Cons:
Not great for tent campers. Only 3 sites total and all 3 sites are side by side, very small, and zero privacy between sites and the rest of the campground
Tent sites are located next to the private road
The entire campground has the big telephone pole security night lights that turn the whole place into well lit nighttime. There's a light located over the tent sites, and it stays on all night, turning your tent into a glow stick.
Overall, if you're a tent camper and need 1 night with a clean shower, do some laundry and be on your way. This will be great. But don't expect it to be a comfortable place to tent camp more than 1 night.
It is located by a lot of the local springs and right off the Interstate down a private road. So the location is excellent.
The host was very nice, we felt safe and welcomed.

Read morePulled up and was immediately yelled at by a woman that we couldn't park in the spot we chose (out of the way of traffic) told her we were checking in and that I had reservations (2 nights) her attitude then changed. Was checked inside a small hut with what it seemed to be all three managers hovering over us and the cashier, breathing down our necks... strange. Was led to our primitive camping area by a guy on a golf cart very strange people not the typical southern hospitality I expected.. most of the residents seemed to be permanent and it felt like we were being watched when we came and went. On our second day we were told we couldn't park our car at our site (had to park at the entrance about 100 yards away)I have NEVER stayed at a campground were you couldn't park at your site especially since we are the only tent campers in the primitive area(secluded from rest of area), also we keep most of our food in our car incase of animals, didn't even argue with the guy because it was our last night. The only reason I didn't give this place one star is because they had great bathrooms, clean, high pressure, and warm water. Wouldn't recommend or come back, you are better off to go a few exits to find another place.Tent...
Read moreMy friends and I occupied the campgrounds at High Springs RV Resort and Campground, and we were very pleased with everything.
The campground offers an open space for activities, but is surrounded by trees, so there's always a shady spot somewhere. The designated firepit makes the campgrounds nice and cozy.
We were most impressed with the bathroom and shower facilities here! They were quite nice, clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. Upon entering the bathroom (which is climate-controlled!), it is similar to 5-star hotel bathrooms in appearance and cleanliness. Plus, the shower facilities offer hot water and excellent water pressure.
I highly recommend camping here! The groundskeeper, Kellie, was super helpful as well. We were able to contact her and she delivered firewood for a small fee. She was also personable, likeable, and knowledgeable. It was fantastic to have the peace of mind that someone was only a phone call away should we have...
