Alaska Chalet Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Alaska

We stayed here for 5 nites in June 2024 before going on an Alaskan cruise. Bridgette was more than accommodating, welcomed us in with lots of breakfast foods to get us started each day. It was more than enough! The beds were comfy, the entire chalet was very spacious at 800 sq ft and the bathroom was very large. Even the bathroom was stocked with things we may have needed during our stay which was a wonderful surprise. This lodging is bit outside of Anchorage but just a quick drive each day so it was off the beaten path but worth the short time to drive. there is a scenic overlook just around the corner, and the local town of Eagle River has everything you need for your stay. We had an outside deck to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. The chalet is super quiet and a peaceful place to enjoy all the beauty and wildlife that Alaska Offers. My wife and I have stayed in many, many places over the years, including several bed and breakfasts. We have never stayed in a nicer place. We stayed for eleven nights while visiting our grandson, who is serving in the Air Force in Anchorage. Our stay was fantastic! ||Brigitte is the perfect hostess. She was so helpful in every way and could not do enough for us!||The Garden Suite was very well furnished. There was all kinds of tourist information. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything that one could want. Our stay at Alaska Chalet was too short! We were here with many errands to run and the Garden suite was a perfect home base for us as we drove around the area. Brigitte really has thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The bed and bed linens were so deluxe and comfortable. In the evenings to relax, we sat outside in the lovely garden, under blossoming trees as the weather was gorgeous and we met the neighbour and the neighbours' dogs. It really felt like we were always a part of the neighbourhood. The unit has all kinds of information about the surrounding area and attractions. There is also a wonderful collection of local art, Brigitte is the perfect ambassador for the area. We can't wait to get back to Alaska and would highly recommend staying here if you are travelling...
