Big Lake North State Recreation Site — Hotel in Alaska

Well maintained campground and boat launch facilities. Great for tent and motorhomes. Outhouse type toilets and no RV hookups, but beautiful views at sunset. Quiet hours are respected. The camp was good and the lake was beautiful, but there was someone next to us that came at 1am and ran a generator for an hour which was very noisy and we could not sleep so we needed to move in the middle of the night. Camp could make the signs that generators are forbidden during the night...

It was unbelievable the entire campground was a concert and a bad one no quiet hours and since no management we packed up at 430 am and left I used to go here almost 2 times per month and I am not the only one who was upset. In hindsight probably should have called police but...
