We come here for a roadtrip to Arctic Ocean, the building looks new and organized, everything is clean. We spent $150 for a single room here. Rooms has TV, Wi-Fi, a sofa, and private bathroom, toilet and sink in our own room. And you got a "card room key" just like any other hotels. This makes me feel I am still live in a modern building rather than a old style "camp". Shower has great water flow and great temperature, the bed is twin size. They have laundry rooms, entertainment rooms(bookshelf and billiards), priting station, and 24-hour dinning room included in your room rate. Also they have plug-ins for your car in case it won't start. I love their 24-hour food room, there's lots of things to choose from, frozen meals, fruits, snacks, milk, they even got a soda machine and juice machine, 24-hours all you can eat/drink in this location. What else can you expect? It seems no one lives here except for the one who check us in on our arrival date. I don't see anyone in the building and our room is right next to the lobby. Riche checked us in, and he showed us all the places(our room, dinning room and where foods are located). He is a very nice guy. The only thing I can say is that it's hard to find the entrance especially in a snow storm weather you can't see anything and outside temperature is about -30 F or so. Also there's no hotel-style front door(big door with ceiling cover) or front desk, once you arrived you probably need to call their number to meet them down at the "BILLETING" room by the elevator. And maybe that's why it is a camp(nor Brooks Hotel) I guess? One last thing I want to say is about the location. Brooks Camp is right next to Prudhoe Bay Post Office, and the gift store which has a sign says "end of Dalton Hwy" which most of you would like to take pictures with. Without going out of the building you got everything you need here, although it is not a 5-star "resort", but I guess there's no camps/hotels better than here in town.

I stayed at Brooks Camp in July 2024. The room was clean, food was very good and all facilities were top-notch. However, that isn’t important. What is important is the fact that people who work there are simply AMAZING! Let me tell you what happened. About 60 miles away from Prudhoe Bay I noticed that my motorcycle had a flat front tyre. I managed to get to the Brooks Camp and I asked at the reception if there was a motorcycle workshop nearby where I could fix my tyre (tyre went off the bead). She told me that she would make some calls in the morning. After breakfast, I went back to the reception and I was told that she called a few garages but they couldn’t fix the tyre but she spoke to her manager and he might be able to help. Terry, the manager, did something unbelievable and assigned one of his engineers to give me a hand with my motorcycle. I took the motorcycle to their garage, and we started fixing the tyre. To be honest, I was more of a spectator than a main actor. Fish “The Legend” fixed my tyre and I could continue my journey. I rode all 414 miles of Dalton Highway on that tyre before I changed it in Fairbanks. Excellent work – top quality! When you are at the end of the world, you want to stay where you won’t be ignored when something goes wrong. So, if you are a solo traveller, this is the place to stay. I was expecting a massive bill for fixing my tyre but I was told that they wouldn’t accept any money from a person in need. They only asked me to leave them a review. Those people saved my trip, and I’ll be forever in their debt. Once again, massive THANK YOU! Konrad

Our stay at Brooks Camp in Prudhoe Bay was nothing short of exceptional, especially under challenging circumstances. Due to a washout on the Dalton Highway, our family was stranded, but the staff at Brooks Camp went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. They not only secured us a place to stay but also offered a discounted rate due to the situation, which we deeply appreciated. The rooms are no-frills, as expected in such a remote location, but they were clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The real highlight, however, was the food. The meals were outstanding, with a wide variety of choices and generous portions. The dessert options were a delightful treat, and our entire family was impressed by the quality and care put into every dish. The staff’s kindness and hospitality made all the difference. They treated us like family, ensuring we felt supported during an uncertain time. They even allowed us to leave our car at the camp while we waited for the road repairs, which was a huge relief. Brooks Camp turned a stressful situation into a memorable stay, and we’re so grateful for their generosity and top-notch service. If you’re traveling through Prudhoe Bay, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend!

We did not intend to stay in Deadhorse on our camping trip on the Dalton highway, but when our vehicle had some computer issues, we decided to get a room here. I'm so glad we did. It was a really relaxing stay, considering we were worried about our truck. ||The price is excellent considering that all meals and the use of the laundry room were included. ||The building is exceptionally clean, and the people are all polite, kind, and friendly. ||We had our children with us, and they were thrilled to learn that they could just walk in the spike room and get any snack they wanted. ||I allowed them to get a few treats after having them work out with me in the gym. They didn't quite know what to do with all the equipment, but soon enough they found the ellipticals and treadmills with the virtual hikes through places like New Zealand and Arizona, and seemed to enjoy that. It was never crowded, and had plenty of free weights, benches, and a cable tower. ||It would be easy to stay in shape here, even with the incredible food. The cooks put on quite a spread (and I enjoyed hearing them sing along to the radio. Happy cooks always make the best food). They had prime rib one night, cheeseburgers the next, pastrami sandwiches for lunch, then burritos, and just about anything you could want for breakfast both mornings. There were so many side dishes and extras that it would be possible to stay on any diet, from keto to vegetarian. ||Jenny was so helpful with getting us in touch with someone who could help us with our truck, showing us around the building so that we knew exactly where everything was, then arranging for John to give us a ride so that we could still do our arctic ocean tour (thank you so much, John, you're the best). She really went above and beyond. ||Once we knew our truck was good to go, we enjoyed just kicking back and watching TV before heading back on the road. They had about 30 channels. ||This camp is mainly for the workers, but they welcome tourists like us with open arms. Almost everyone here flies in for 2-3 weeks, then goes home for the same amount of time. These people are problem solvers, and they are generous, and they have gone out of their way to help us out. That's not something you find everywhere, and I especially appreciated it...
