Byers Creek Lodge — Hotel in Alaska

We stayed at the Byers Creek Lodge on April 11 in the Eagle Cabin. It was very clean and comfortable! The bathrooms were just a short walk away and very clean as well.

Aside from that, I want to hilight Steve’s hospitality. I got to talk to him a bit the night before and then my husband and I stayed and chatted during breakfast. Steve will say breakfast “isn’t much,” but it is wonderful - coffee, tea, and pastries to get your day started.

After leaving breakfast my husband and I tried to leave and our car was stuck in what Steve said was some of the worst snow this season (ten plus inches over night). Steve saw us struggling and came out to help us without ever being asked. We will forever appreciate his company and his help.

Clean and comfortable lodging, food, and hospitality- what more could you ask for?!

Our experience at Byers Creek Lodge was nothing less than amazing. First and foremost, the owners of the lodge are wonderful. Steve went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and proved to us that they want every client to have the best stay and experience. Our cabin had electric heat, nice lighting, was meticulously clean, beautifully furnished, and nicely priced. They have showers and indoor bathrooms that are beautifully kept and warm. Lastly, our cabin was pet friendly. 5 stars Steve ....and we'll see...

Stayed here for a couple of days in Bunkhouse 1. Kelli juggled some things around so we wouldn't have to move our stuff since we extended our stay, which we truly appreciated! Steve is a great conversationalist and we have learned so much from him! We look forward to checking out the Russian Falls spot on the way to Homer to hopefully catch a glimpse of bears catching salmon. Thanks again for a great stay at a...
