Stayed here for one night whilst on a 2 week touring holiday of Alaska and so pleased we did. We stayed in one of 6 cabins (number 6) and it was such a lovely experience. Owned by husband and wife you can tell that each cabin was built and furnished with love, care and attention, spotless clean, warm and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable and was well made, which is extremely rare in the US, usually I have to remake the bed before I can even get into it, or have to contend with poor fitting sheets. The room had fridge, microwave, coffee maker with a range of different coffees and different flavoured coffee mate from caramel, to vanilla to plane. The room had a small table with 2 chairs, there was a TV but did not switch on as so peaceful here, there was also 2 chairs and table on the front porch and a space to park the car right at the side of the cabin. The shower was great in the bathroom. You really felt you were camping in the middle of nowhere but in comfort and style. They do not offer breakfast but I could highly recommend Fast Eddy’s which is only a short couple of miles drive up the road for dinner and breakfast. We had wanted to see the aurora borealis and the owner even knocked on our door in the evening to tell us they had started. The best place to see them was at the end of his drive on the road the cabins were on which was something like Borealis drive! (He also assured us that there were no bears in the area and the noises we could hear were just the local dogs and the odd fox). For something a little different I would highly recommend making a detour to stay a night or 2 in these...

The cabins are very cute, with 2 cozy beds upstairs over a somewhat thin staircase. And a large bed downstairs. The large bed however is susceptible to lights from outside because the cushions are underneath the curtains.
Overall the cabin feels very comforting, and during the summer you wont have any problems with heat or cold. However because the downstairs floor is of stone, I am suspecting that even tho the cabins are lifted like 1 feet off the ground, the floor still gets cold (there are heaters).
The bathroom, mainly the shower wasn't very clean when we visited, and the second time it was even worse with still long black hairs lying in the shower. That is the problem when you don't have removable shower heads.
Overall would recommend, but I do think they need to refresh the silicone kit next to the shower.
Oh yeah, there is wi-fi. First visit it worked perfectly, second visit,...
Read moreWe stopped here traveling from the lower 48 up to Fairbanks. They were so cool! Very fair price for the accommodations you get. Our cabin had a queen and I believe two full beds (maybe queens I didn’t look too hard.) they were pet friendly and had a really nice breakfast area with all kinds of food to choose from. Only stayed one night driving through but actually considered coming back for a get away at some point. They were pet friendly and even had some caribou outback. If you’re wanting to get away for a couple days or looking to stop over night and willing to pay a few extra bucks over a hotel, you get some very nice accommodations and will really...
