I rarely leave negative reviews. But I feel obligated to help the next person avoid this place at all costs. Overall, the staff was inattentive and unconcerned with providing what they advertise. I called the motel desk the morning we were arriving and they confirmed the room I paid for with two full sized beds was ready and waiting. However, when we arrived a few hours later, I was told they gave our room to someone else. We were placed in a much smaller room with only one full sized bed and one twin sized bed for our 4 day stay. The room was musty smelling, poorly lit, outdated and looked nothing like the pics posted on their website. We also returned to our room after a wonderful day at Denali Park to a strong smell of sewage coming from somewhere in the bathroom. Our room had no complimentary bath soap or shampoo (as advertised) and we were short a towel and wash cloth. When I asked the office manager for towels and a wash cloth, I was told there were none available. I would have to wait. The next day, the same problem…no towels available. I finally found cleaning staff and asked for what I needed. It took some time but I finally got soap and towels. But the best part is: the owner purposely came out of her office at checkout to scold me for “harassing” the cleaning staff for supplies after her office employees repeatedly ignored my requests! I’m not sure what their business motto is but hospitality and customer service is not part of it. I would discourage anyone from staying here. Don’t waste your money, find someplace that cares about their guests and actually delivers what...

2024 Update. Stayed four nights. Park is under new management/owners and this was their first season. They are now in the process of becoming affiliated with KOA. Improvements are being made - nice dog park, Play ground, adding gravel and leveling sites, and replacing most of the wooden picnic tables. Bath/shower house has individual rooms with toilets that appear to have been recently renovated. Laundry is $7 total - $4 for wash and $3 for dry. Same machines as in 2019 and then they were new, they are definitely NOT NEW now but they worked. Showers take tokens; one token equals six minutes and they tokens were free at the front desk. WIFI is available but we used Starlink. 2019 - Tons of PROs for this park. The price is very reasonable; we got a full hookup that included cable tv. Our site was level and clean; had shade and a picnic table. Nice dog walk as well. Cleanest showers/bathrooms we've seen. I like the private concept - one room with sink, toilet and shower. You do have to pay $4 for 6-mins but they explain why this is and it makes sense. The laundry room was clean and per the advertisements, their machines were very efficient. Gift shop and staff were A+. I'm giving this 4 and not 5 stars due to the wifi. So many parks we stay at advertise free wifi. Well it is free, if you can reach it (we could and usually had three bars) but nothing would load. This can be caused by someone closer to the router streaming video. So, you see a strong signal but there is no band width left to do anything. We would definitely stay at this park again if we're...

We stayed two nights after our visit to Denali National Park. In hindsight, we could have easily stayed here and drove to park each day as it isn’t too far away.||Checkin was seamless and everything worked well at our site. The bathrooms were clean. We did not use the laundry.||There is a hiking trail that starts at front of the property. I hiked it up to a ridge and then followed the ridge up and up. I probably hiked 3 miles and could have gone higher. The rain and clouds blocked any views in the distance.||My only complaint (and unfortunately common on this trip) is the site we were given. I was told to book early and I did. I also paid early. And doing so two months early got me a small, unlevel site crammed up against the bathroom house. I had the noise and smell for two days. And there were open sites available. If you are going to charge me the same as everyone else, and take my money early, I deserve a site like...

We stayed at the park for 6 nights while visiting Denali. It is an ideal location - out of "glitter canyon" as the locals refer to the busy area near the entrance to the park. And nicer than the other parks which were in "glitter canyon". Not far away, this park is only 10-15 minutes from the entrance of Denali. The park was fairly quiet, though being right on the Parks Highway, there was some road noise. The park has a nice small store and great laundry facilities with newer machines - and they were all working! Sites are tight. We were backed right up to a hill - which was OK, and struggled to fit the truck in next to the picnic table and still have room to walk through. But it worked. There were a couple caravans there when we were - for part of the time. They were crowded in too with their large motor homes and tow vehicles. Made the roads narrow. Nice area with some trails to stretch your legs. Friendly, helpful staff. AT&T worked great.

We stayed a couple weeks ago. We had made our reservations 7 months ahead of time for a pull through. We arrived we to be checked in by 3 different people all with conflicting information. We had been moved because of a Fanatsy Tour group came in. We basically were put in front of two motel rooms. Our hookups were in there entrance way. When I complained about spot, I was told we park bigger rigs there all the time. (We are 40 ft and tow jeep). The poor people in motel had to manuver our sewer pipes etc to get to their door and their view out the window was our MH. We made the best of it how can you not in Denali. We did met new owner and his brother they are incredibly nice and hopefully can bring park up to date.

Small, not clean, unusable wifi. Difficult to cancel. I don’t recommend to book this place ahead of time. You can stay in Fairbanks to avoid this motel. It is only 2 hrs drive from Fairbanks to Denali. But you will have 10x better experience. Don’t drive too fast, there is speed trap. If you travel solo and can’t find anything cheaper on the same day, it is ok to stay there. If you are traveling with family and friends, I don’t recommend this place. It smells good, but it is definitely not clean. The bed sheet and blanket feel dirty. Room is very small, it is hard to turn around when there are two people in there and with the luggage. Wifi speed is slow to ZERO. There is no soundproof. You can hear nextdoor walking.
