After a couple of days camping in Wrangel National Park, I was in dire need of some good old-fashioned comfort food. The diner I stumbled upon was exactly what we needed and more. We ordered the burger and grilled cheese, and both were absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy, and the grilled cheese was perfectly crispy. After not eating well for a few days, these dishes were exactly what we needed to recharge. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The diner provided a great ending to a great trip. I would highly recommend this diner to anyone who is looking for a quick and tasty meal, especially if you're coming off a camping trip and craving some good old-fashioned comfort food.

Home Made Pies. If you're visiting Alaska and you want to enjoy a dessert that locals travel hundreds of miles to taste then you need to stop at Eureka Lodge. I personally enjoy the Chocolate Cream Pie, but I think they have about 6-8 different varieties of pies to choose from. Stretch your legs and enjoy a quick meal during your travel in Alaska at the Eureka Lodge. Credit cards accepted, no smoking inside, and make sure you have your shirt and shoes on. If you get your order To Go then expect a charge ($0.50) for the box. If this review was helpful please click the Like button. May 2019 (1) Chocolate Cream Pie: $5.00 (1) Blueberry Pie: $5.00 (1) Banana Cream Pie: $5.00 (1) To Go Box (per pie): $0.50 Tax: $0.00

Stopped here for lunch while cruising down the Glenn Highway. It was our first meal in Alaska and turned out it was the best one. Missy, our waitress, was FANTASTIC—great service and conversation! I ordered the corned beef hash + reindeer sausage and it was great! It was my first time eating reindeer sausage but it was excellent. I got the blueberry pie and it was excellent as well. I will definitely return here on my next vacation!

If I could give it no stars I would. Let's start with I was Stranded on the side of the road with my wife and two small kids( 1 year old and 2 years old). Thanks eureka lodge for not filling up our fuel tank. This is the second time they have done this to us. The first time we got there at 9:02, 2 minutes after they closed. With 3 trucks needing gas they refused to fill us up because they already closed the till. We explained that we had a 2 week old and an 18 month old and could not make it to the next closest gas station. They informed us that there rooms were booked and that we could wait in the parking lot until morning because they close at 9 on weekdays.I said I would not go back but found myself forgiving the poor service and trying to be understanding. We stopped in tonight at 8:40 (making sure we made it by 9) and they said " sorry we closed at 8 today. The employee there said that he would see what he could do and ask his boss since he literally just closed out the till but informed me that the answer would probably be no. He asked if we could make it any where else because they are closed tomorrow (Tuesday) and would not be able to fill us up until Wednesday. I informed him that this had happened before and they said they close at 9. They then walked away saying sorry hope you have a good night. Since I'm sure eureka lodge will read this please know that your employee that I spoke to this evening was very polite and seemed to be as helpful as possible, I'm sorry I can not say the same about the lodge as a whole. To the rest of you reading this PLEASE DO NOT...

We came in after a quick snowmobiling out to the snow cave and ate in the restaurant. Even though it was busy, the waitress was attentive and the food came out so fast! The fries were absolutely delicious 😋 my husband and I had different burgers. He had the bacon cheeseburger and I had the Swiss mushroom burger and we both loved them! All around us everyone was talking about the desserts so we had to try one of the home made pies. We had the banana cream pie, and it sure did not disappoint! A huge thick slice with a flakey crust and the filling is enough to bring back the best memories of your Grandma's best pie. 👌 because it was busy, it turned out the owner came in to help out. He took the time to chat with us and was so kind and personable even though he had a million things he could have been attending to. We discovered he'd just taken over in January. So shout out Chris for the great food, great service, and taking the time for each customer with a great smile. We got to meet a few of the kids and his wife as well. It was an honor! We look forward to hopefully staying in one of the cabins next time we...

We shared a room here the night before the Fireweed Bike Race. I had hoped for a good night's sleep before 200 miles on a bike the next day. Check in was fine, the room was fine (especially considering the very reasonable rate) and the beds were comfortable. ||The down sides I experienced are really out of the owners hands... but maybe they could post quiet hours signs.||It was a very pleasant, sunny, warm day... and the windows needed to be open otherwise it would have been an oven in the room. There was a truck being revved and revved for hours (they may have been working on a mechanical). As it's a no-smoke hotel, the smokers kept going in and out the door that was right by our room, and then smoked near our open window, which meant smoke and raised voices both drifted into our room. ||At 1a.m. I went out and asked people sitting on the deck of the cabin that was right next to our room if they could be a little more quiet - which unfortunately didn't happen.||As I said, not really the hotel's fault, but detracted from the...
