Our stay at the Kenai Fjords Princess Lodge was absolutely fantastic and felt like a true Alaskan retreat. From the accommodations to the amenities, everything exceeded our expectations, and the staff made the experience truly seamless. The highlight of our stay was the accommodation. The rooms were huge and beautifully designed in a cozy, upscale cabin style. They felt more like private retreats than standard hotel rooms. We especially loved the touches that elevated the experience, like the charming wood burning fireplace and the private porch—perfect for enjoying the crisp Alaskan air and views. These rooms provided a comfortable and luxurious base for exploring the area. The convenience offered by the lodge’s amenities was greatly appreciated. It was incredibly helpful to have a well-stocked shop right on the property for necessities, souvenirs, and snacks. Being able to access laundry facilities on site was a huge bonus, especially halfway through a long trip. This made packing lighter and our stay much more comfortable. Finally, the staff was consistently helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Whether we needed recommendations for local excursions or assistance with something in the room, the team was always ready to assist with a warm, welcoming attitude. Their attentiveness truly contributed to the relaxing atmosphere of the lodge. We highly recommend the Kenai Fjords Princess Lodge to anyone visiting the Seward area. It offers large, beautiful accommodations and all the necessary conveniences for a perfect...

This lodge is EVERYTHING you want an Alaskan Lodge to be. Wood buring stoves to keep the rooms warm at night (with unlimited firewood right outside your building!). The rooms were huge with tons of room to spread out. We explored the onsite hiking trail and walked down the road (about a mile) to a cemetary that was absolutely beautiful to see. The staff was super helpful and able to answer every question we had.

This section I included in multiple reviews: We were part of a Princess Cruise-Tour. One component I didn't fully understand was how you move from lodge to lodge. It starts with your arrival. At each lodge you get an envelope, it has your room key, important information about the lodge (including any reservations you have made for activities or dining) and luggage tags. You remove your current luggage tag and place the new tag on your suitcase before putting it outside in the morning (the information envelope tells you the time it must be outside). The staff then take your luggage and transport it to the next stop. You go about your day and in the evening at your next lodge the process repeats. It is a seamless way of making this travel managable and fun. There is no check-in line, no delay when you arrive waiting on room keys. The minute you have your envelope the time is yours to relax, explore, eat, drink, socialize. This was a fantastic way to vacation - like a road trip without the stress of...

This reservation was made for 40th birthday celebration. Reserved Mountain View room and received view with just trees. If I had know. I would have gone somewhere else. When I specially purchased mountain you reply I got was all rooms are Mountain View and a weird smile from the front lady. Room is out dated and need a face lift. If I was not as tried I have argued but what can I say. They didn’t honored the request when I double checked by calling week ahead. One side of the room doesn’t have curtain so expect light in the room . Bathroom looks old and outdated. Food was last min but overall too salty. I think I made wrong choice picking this lodge.

Updated review : Beside some glitch mention above in my reservation even after calling in advance, over all stay was great. People were very nice , soft spoken and kind in general. It is hard to find that when you are visiting new places. Debbie and all the other staff was nice. What I liked the most was the walk to the Kenai river and if you are tired the shuttle pick you up. Very organized. Food was good over all expect the special I tried during dinner, very very tangy sauce. Also the night I checked in , I was the last customer and kitchen was almost closing so I understood the food may be the way it was coz of last min order. It was little over salty . But overall stay was great and lounge was beautiful middle of the mountain when you watch from the...
