Phenomenal outfit. We were interested in fishing but they provide much more including rafting, kayaking, and hiking. The location is beautiful. Cabins cozy. Meals phenomenal. Fishing was great. Our guide Tea was a great teacher for rookie fly fishermen and made sure we all had the opportunity to catch fish. The rest of the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. A great experience and we will return.

river raft excursion is great. Our guide Kevin, was knowledgeable and informative. He was also very entertaining and provided us with a gourmet lunch that he set up on the bank of the river. The wildlife we encountered and the views of the land made an even more memorable experience. This excursion gave us something that we could never have gotten from a cruise or tour bus. Well worth the money

Had to do the 2 hour scenic float since my youngest was not old enough for the white water rapids trip yet....she was a bit disappointed - but we all enjoyed it. They were nice enough to let us reschedule on a different day because we got a flat tire on our way and missed our original tour time. Very friendly staff. Great time.

My husband and I had the recent trip of a lifetime to Alaska. I want to preface this review by stating I was born and raised in Juneau but have never been to the Kenai area. I love to fish as does my husband and wanted to experience the Kenai with some of the best guides. I did a lot of research before picking Alaska Wildland Adventures (AWA) but they kept rising to the top. I love how much they give back and protect Alaska resources. We were right they did not disappoint and they way exceeded our expectations!! ||From the moment we decided to reserve with Wildland we found Katie super helpful in picking dates which fit the fish we wanted to catch and our schedule. We overnighted in Anchorage and the following day we were met by staff as prearranged at our hotel to drive us to the lodge. The staff…wow! Drivers, cooks, concierges, check in, fishing guides, etc. Everyone was so fun to interact with and they did their jobs with pride. I hear they have a 80% staff retention rate and I understand why! ||We loved the fishing guides, Jason (a local guide), Madyson and Dave, T and Matt (local guides). The companies they chose to contract with are super professional and highly skilled. We caught 70 lbs of fish between my spouse and I (king, sockeye, pink, rockfish and halibut). Yum!! Way more than we expected! The fish was filleted and vacuumed packed, frozen and packaged for transport back home. BTW Anchorage airport has freezer storage, which we utilized, if your hotel does not. ||The meals at the lodge were amazing!! Days start early at 4 am if you’re fishing but staff is up with breakfast if you’re so inclined. Lunches are prepared daily with your preferences in mind and dinners our 5 star. Way more food than we needed to eat but boy did we enjoy!!||The cabins, beds and accommodations are Alaskan comfortable. One of our favorite spots was the deck overlooking the Kenai river…beyond beautiful!!||We would love to return someday! Thank you again for all you did to make our trip so wonderful! We have life long memories and friends!||Shannon &...

I don't know how anyone could not give a 5 star rating.

The staff was very professional and courteous from front desk, to kitchen, to the fishing guides. They handle everything from the time the time you arrive until their shuttle drops you back off at the hotel/airport.

They do offer many active other than fishing but we went there to fish the Kenai river for trout and salmon.

The fishing guides are very knowledgeable and professionally regardless of your skill level. We are more advanced fly fishers and they were able to meet our requests, their gear is quality from waders(Simms) to name brand fly rods and reels with lines and leaders in good working order.

If you come to fish for salmon during the salmon runs they will clean, prepare, vacuum seal, and freeze your fish and box it for shipping home with you.

They also provide you with the best breakfast buffet you will ever have, exceptional pack lunch, and gourmet 5 course dinners that are truly mouth watering. Seriously it was the best food of our entire vacation.

6 out of 5 stars we can't wait to go back.

Special thanks to our fishing guides, Madison,...
