We decided to rent a "motor boat" to go out onto the lake for a couple of hours. I probably could have paddled faster than the motor went, but that was absolutely fine. There was no rush. Going out with the family to see the beautiful scenery and have a picnic lunch was an amazing way to spend a couple of hours. And, the guys who ran the place couldn't have been nicer. They lent us a fishing pole and even gave us shrimp to use as bait. We came up empty, but I think that was more on us than due to the fish.
