One of my favorite places for 4-wheelering. Very busy on the summer weekends. Tons of trails to explore. Large public parking lot for off loading and loading your machines with new bathrooms open in the summer time. Please be careful and courteous of other riders. You will encounter all skill levels from first timers to advanced racers. The trail that goes off the "left" of the parking lot and runs along the gravel pit is a very easy ride for first timers. Be aware that the gravel pit is private property. If you get all the way to the glacier watch out for moose. They love to hang out...
Read moreDefinitely pretty views. Visited with kiddos about a week ago. Found it to be windy and surprisingly trashy. Lots of cans and even some broken bottles. I pulled into one access point north of the bridge to find just piles of trash (gross). We hung out for a little while and played along the river bed before deciding to head farther south. It's generally a good area to visit but can get trashy, overrun, and noisy with people off roading. If that's your thing then go. After heading south it seemed a lot cleaner...

They come in on the weekends and are completely disrespectful towards others and will run their ATVs back and forth on the sand, do donuts in their trucks, and blast music literally all night and into the morning.
