We stayed with John and Jill somewhere around mid-August for four nights and we’re so happy and grateful for the days we spend there. If you’re around Tok, go to John and Jill. You will have the best time there! ||||You might think, what does Tok have to offer? Well, the answer is very simple: whatever you desire, because that’s what John and Jill have in store for you! During your first dinner, they will ask you what you would like to do during your stay. As said, the possibilities are infinite. You can hike on one of the beautiful trails they set out, you can try your luck fishing, or you can paddle on one of the beautiful lakes and rivers near by. But those activities are just a glimpse of what John and Jill really have to offer. You want to help gather and cut wood, join a hunt during hunting season, explore the beautiful scenery by a four wheeler or eat hotdogs in the wilderness? John and Jill will accomodate pretty much every crazy wish you might have and you’ll have a wonderful time! ||||The best reason, however, to go to the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge is not the endless list of awesome activities, but it’s them - John and Jill. They are wonderful, incredibly kind and wholehearted people. To us, it was obvious that they love what they do and that shows in every single detail during your trip there. ||||I could probably go on and on about our stay there, but I’ll just keep it short: It was amazing, fun and just such an out-of-this-world experience for us and we are so grateful for that. John and Jill, thanks again, we won’t ever forget our stay there!||||Rose &...

Read moreAn absolute breathtaking location! Turning off the Tok Cutoff highway you travel a stunningly beautiful 2 mile road to reach the lodge and cabins. There you are greeted by owner Becky who walks you through your cabin and has home made cookies waiting for you. Becky is charming and warm and an absolute delight. She felt like a friend immediately upon meeting her! Our cabin was very clean with good bedding and excellent towels. There was a queen bed on the ground level and a twin bed in the loft. Coffee/tea maker is provided and there are good toiletries in the bathroom. The grounds are gorgeous. You feel nestled between the snow capped mountains and we enjoyed sitting out by the firepit picnic table drinking wine and taking in the scenery. A babbling brook runs directly behind the cabin and the stand alone sauna building is excellent and feels so good after a days travel. We even took a walk through the grounds and saw the "rustic" cabins, including the one where John Wayne stayed. These too looked very well maintained and clean for those who really like to connect with nature. Make sure and bring sandwich fixings with you if spending a few days as you are tucked into nature and without city...
