This was our first trip to Anchor Point/Homer and couldn't be happier with our choice of lodging. Kevin and Laura are wonderful hosts and have been so professional and responsive during and after making reservations. The beds are very comfortable and the scene out your front porch overlooking the mountains is breathtaking! Beautiful fire pits, hammocks and benches overlooking the cliff are fabulous places to relax and thank God for the beautiful life we have been blessed with. They even have wild Raspberries to pick to make pie/crumb cake or top off your pancakes! Bald Eagles flying overhead. Just magnificent! They have everything you need and there are stores close by to get what you don't . We suggest stopping at Walmart in Anchorage to get supplies. We love it so much we will be back again with our parents next summer. Don't hesitate to stay here Jeff&Tammy Everts Bonita Springs, FL Aug 2020

We stayed in the "redoubt" cabin and what a beautiful place! Super comfortable for many people to stay in. Spectacular views, beautifully decorated in fishing theme. We utilized the stove, grill, porch, loft, found our way down to the beach and had a walk on the beach. Can't say enough positive about our experience in this cabin. The beds in the loft were a tad uncomfortable to me, but everyone has their preference. And honestly I've slept in full service hotel beds I didn't love either. Short drive through beautiful country to get to homer if you are on a charter (approx 30 mins of travel) We did not utilize the central gathering location, but if you had a big group, it would be a great place to have a drink, and catch up on the day's events and gather around a cozy fire.

Couldn’t have been happier with Lost Anchor Cabins! Interacted with Kevin several times and he’s a fantastic guy. I work in Alaska and finally got my family up to visit. We stayed for 4-5 days in the Redoubt Cabin and it was great the whole time! There are bald eagles everywhere which is super cool. Beach access isn’t far at all and the view across the bay of the Alaska Peninsula is unbeatable. Kevin recommended a fishing charter out of Homer and we limited out on halibut and rockfish and had a blast. If you’re looking for a cool, clean, and unique place to stay near Homer but also removed and private, this is the place. Thanks to Kevin and his family, y’all do a great job!

Our stay at Lost Anchor Cabins in Anchor Point, Alaska, was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The cabins themselves are beautifully maintained, offering all the comforts of home while still providing an authentic Alaskan experience.

The serene location is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature. We enjoyed stunning views, incredible wildlife sightings, and the peacefulness of the surrounding area. The proximity to the Anchor River for fishing and made it an ideal base for our adventures.

The hospitality was the highlight of our stay. The local knowledge and genuine kindness we experienced made our trip unforgettable. I highly recommend Lost Anchor Cabins to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing Alaskan getaway. We can't...
