Sawinglogzz Cabin — Hotel in Alaska

Stayed in Sawing Logzz 5-11.7.2022 with my 3 fishing friends. Luann and Gary were very welcoming and nice people. The four room ”downstairs” did the job for accomodation greatly. Sawing Logzz doesn’t offer breakfast but does offer complimentary automatic coffee, which is very good. The only drawback was that we didn’t know in advance that we couldn’t cook food in the kitchenette, because there is no stove. So we bought too much grocerys when we arrived to the place. Luann and Gary were very friendly and arranged a gas grill for us on the lawn, but boiling potatoes took one hour on the grill. Is hasn’t any side cooker which would have solved the problem in no time. We thought that mayby Luann and Gary think that a stove inside is a possible hazard for the whole house. We had to go to Copper center restaurant and pick up Glennallen take aways. But we had great time on our fishing trip to Copper Center and Sawing Logzz made that possible, thank you...

This place was comfortable and basically fit our needs. There is no privacy in the triple room with rec room. The room includes the owner's Office Space a small Workshop and open Stairway to the upstairs of the house which apparently someone is living in. The private Deluxe Queen Suite was nice but the kitchenette area could use a good cleaning. The coffee maker looks like it has not been cleaned in quite a while and there was food stuck to the inside of the microwave. As for the breakfast part there was two packs of instant oatmeal and a granola bar. Not my idea of a bed and breakfast breakfast. Also these rooms are in the basement so you do have to carry your luggage down a few steps. All in all it was nice with a...
