Good for one night stay, unless you plan to fish. The pond is stocked, there is a small beach area if you want to swim. A trail that leads back to the river. Most sites are on the small side but some will fit larger rigs and aren't very level, pit toilet is clean, and trash is available. First come first served, $25/nt.

This place has set a new standard for what I want in a camp site. They are a bit on the short side though and not big rig friendly. We got a spot next to the creek and the white noise kept away the sounds of people at the lake. Bathrooms are well kept too.

Beautiful campsites. Number of them are long and big. Some have views of the lake and some are next to river. We used the campground as our base camp for a day trip to McCarthy/Kennecott.

Interesting campground. There are more small, tent like spaces than RV spaces. Don't pick site 16 if you don't want locals walking through your campsite to get to a swimming beach. Sites are narrow...
