Treehouse Cove Lodge — Hotel in Alaska

Not enough space in this box to write all of the wonderful words that come to mind ... when remembering my recent trip to Treehouse Cove Lodge. I went there because I was performing for the Summer Solstice Festival in Seldovia. The pictures of this place although stunning don’t come close to the heaven on earth it actually is. If you are looking to completely reconnect with nature this is your go to spot for Seldovia adventure. Captain Scott & his lovely wife Janet are amazing human beings and aside from the nature time to nurture my soul I found new framily (friends who feel like family) . They both nurtured my tired worn thin spirit... and I felt some major healing happening while there. I have been battling through cancer & major changes in the pace of my life and I needed the serenity the treehouse cove gave. Was able to completely feel and hear the healing frequencies of nature with the waterfall directly beside the treehouse and the beach ahead. During the summer, on a sunny day the sunset colors remained pink, lavender for hours upon hours. I didn’t want to sleep the view from the panoramic windows was so picturesque.

During my walk on the beach with Janet, I picked up sea glass, shells, and neat rocks that looked like tiny abstract paintings. I also enjoyed the artsy places in Seldovia which was 10-15 min boat ride away.

The breakfast and food served from Captain and Janet was simply amaZing. For breakfast a pancake /egg hash browns inside I mean 🤠💪Homemade raspberry & rhubarb jam on scones . They also get fish like salmon or whatever the local fisherman caught to support them for other meals.

Sunsets late at night at treehouse cove lodge made me melt into nature’s rhythm.

Overall, I couldn’t write the beauty of this place and the pics don’t do it justice.

I’d recommend packing light - As I came overpacked w music gear and clothes it’s a lot to bring and you won’t need much .

I’d say some items I’d def bring :

Warm coat with hood Warm under layers top and bottom Gloves Warm hat or Beanie Outdoor waterproof rain gear pants and top Scarf Sleeping bag light compact ones (w stuff sack) Waterproof knee high boots Any kind non perishable snacks/ of food u may want yourself (think glamping) A tiny book to read on the beach Your childlike spirit of adventure A couple of good to go charged battery packs for cell phone charging and other charging needs. Any meds you may need for emergencies if you have health issues Any cameras u love bc wow this is the place if u like nature photography or are a novice I phone photographer.

Bring the kid in you...and go to Seldovia . What an adventure it was at Treehouse...

It is hard to put in words our thoughts about our stay at Treehouse Cove Lodge! Our trip was a surprise plan that I booked to celebrate the recent engagement of me and my better half!! Captain Scott went out of his way to make it a memorable and special trip for us from the moment we met on the dock. All of his knowledge of the Seldovia and surrounding areas made for great conversations and historical information and I grew up in the area! His kindness and warmth was only equalled by his wife, Janet, who met us with with excitement and celebration for our recent engagement (and not to mention wonderful meals). It felt more as though long lost friends were celebrating our happiness with us. We booked the Treehouse and were in awe from the moment we saw it. This is most definitely the most unique lodging we have stayed in. It was comfortable and cozy and more beautiful than the pictures could ever show. One just has to experience it! I would recommend Treehouse Cove Lodge to anyone looking for a truly unique...
