This is a very nice RV park, we chose to stay here because it was one of the only decent looking places in the area, and we were not disappointed! Very professional and nice staff, from the first call and throughout our stay they were awesome. Everything is VERY well kept: concrete pads, hook ups, plenty of space for maneuvering and parking an RV of any size. We got a pull through site for our 35 ft travel trailer but we could have easily used one of the back in spots.
For how full and big this place is I was really surprised how quiet it was! We have 4 kids that go to bed fairly early, so loud neighbors is always a concern, but we had no problems at all with noise or inconsiderate neighbors. It is a gated park and each guest gets a gate code to get in. We didn't see any trashy or messing looking RVs or sites, even the working guys kept their work trucks and stuff parked nicely and out of the way. The only eye sore was the stationary RVs that are set up to rent (I think) that look old and kinda run down, but they were on the West side of the park and we stayed on the East side.
There is a nice pool and hot tub area, several places with charcoal and gas grills set up, an outdoor kitchen near the pool area, and a rec room with some workout equipment and game tables. They have a free dog wash, propane fill station (added to your bill), and available trailer parking and storage sheds for rent. Free air station located by the dumpsters as well. The pond has catch and release fishing, but is free and you don't need a license. No people or pets in the pond.
Our only complaint while staying here is with the laundry. We didn't realize it is a laundromat style, where you have to pay to use it. Supposedly the machines are set up to use a credit card, so after hauling all our stuff there I figured I might as well pay the $8 or whatever to wash it all. None of the machines would read my card, so I checked with the staff and she said they weren't working with credit cards and I would have to use cash or one of the laundry charge cards. I don't usually carry more than a couple bucks in cash, so I went to get a charge card. Turns out those cost $1 to get one, but then I had no way to put money on it, because to charge it you need cash. I was referred to the ATM, but then I would have a $20 that I would have to break to be able to use it to charge the card or in the machines themselves, or have a laundry card with $12 left on it that I would most likely never be able to use. At that point I decided to just wait a day till we got to our next stop, which I knew had machines that were free for guests. I wasted $1 and about an hour with all that, so just be aware that it's not free and bring...
Read moreThis place is beautiful, yes but there are a few issues outside of the beauty and it all comes down to the cost for these "minor" problems. For starters the pool area is gorgeous! However, the pool isn't heated and was only sitting at about 60⁰ and the hot tub was dangerously hot, you couldn't even put your toes in it for over 10 seconds before having to rip them out. My entire skin became red, inflamed and swollen from the heat. (And I have always had hot tubs so it's not that I'm sensitive to heat). So even though it was so pretty and where the main cost came from almost everything was unusable. You are allowed to order packages to this location, but I wouldn't recommend it. The "mail room" is a shelf beside the vending machine in the club house with everyone's personal information on it, very unsafe and risky. Not to mention while I was here I got an email that was a mass email across the park that someone's package was stolen for over a week and they were trying to track it down on the cameras, so goes to show how unsecure and unsafe that is. The beautiful looking gym, is in the main club house with no doors or walls separating it. You can be working out right beside someone playing pool and have to dodge their poles, while someone is sitting on the couch beside you watching a movie. The dog walk is off the property and leads you to a main dangerous road so hopefully you aren't offleashing your dog, and okay to walk your dog on a busy street otherwise the "dog amenities" are non existent. The laundry room is stunning from an appearance aspect, but function is opposite. There are only 2 "big washers" and it barely fit one queen size comforter ($4.50 a load for the big ones) and the other ones are so small it only fits about 6 towels MAX ($3.50). The small ones are probably just under a half load, to put into perspective. That being said the place is really astetically appealing, especially if you get the lake view spots. The gazebos have community BBQs and propane fire places (propane is provided by park) and there are cute swings around the park to sit and enjoy the pond. The dog wash station is a super cute addition to this place! It is built strong and large (I have a rottweiler and there was plenty of room for him, with space to spare to keep him comfortable) it also had a blow dryer which i thought was a really nice touch. Again pool area is stunning!! But if you are only spending the money for that, keep the unbearable hot tub, and extremely cold pool into consideration. Overall 3 stars, they gained the stars simply for the look of this place, but because of all these issues built up and for the overall cost it seems way...

Rooms: The accommodations are top-notch. My Park Model came with a quality mattress that guarantees a restful night's sleep, plenty of closet space, and reliable air conditioning for the Texas heat, plus heating for those cooler months. It's clear comfort was a priority when these units were designed.
Service: With 46 years in the customer service industry, I can confidently say the service at Eastlake RV Resort is outstanding. Property Managers Mark and Lori Taylor have transformed this resort into much more than a stopover—it's a true home. Whether you're here short-term or long-term, their presence makes a difference.
Mark is always working—sun up to sun down—to ensure the grounds and amenities are in top condition. Lori runs the front office with warmth, always ready with a smile and eager to assist. What makes this team special is their consistency: every day, they show up as genuinely kind, hardworking people who care deeply about the residents and the resort. Every RV resort should be so lucky to have a team like them.
Location & Community: The neighborhood atmosphere here is one of my favorite aspects. There’s a strong sense of community—neighbors helping neighbors, all working together to keep our little slice of paradise clean, safe, and beautiful.
Amenities & Cleanliness: Mark goes above and beyond to keep the pool sparkling clean and ready for use daily. In the Park Model, I receive weekly cleaning service—fresh linens, towels, vacuuming, and more. There’s also a night cleaning crew that resets the Recreation Room, Laundry Room, and Grilling Areas every evening.
