Camp Tecumseh — Hotel in Alexandria Township

Stellar retreat center. The place is just so damn beautiful. The newly paved smooth roads run throughout the campus, and overlooks a beautiful basin and there are paddleboat so you can ride there. I went there during the fall, and the leaves are just starting to turn on it was so beautiful. They’re rolling hills, and it just seems like the sun shines golden whenever it’s there. Make sure you look up at night time, there is the least light pollution I’ve ever seen in my life. There is a small bonfire area, as well as three separate common areas, one including a stage and sound controls. There are 3 village neighborhoods with four dual cabins each, each cabin sleeps 28 or so. The cabins have very high ceilings, and have heating, electricity, all the basic necessities. There are two bathrooms each with two showers and two bathroom stalls, and four sinks...

I went here for one week in the summer as a kid a few times! I have so many special memories of this beautiful place ❤️ From the friendly kids to the loving councilors, everyone was so wonderful. People from all walks of life, and all over the world joined here. We all found we had something in common! The Scottish man Chris invited my brother and I back for a week and we were thrilled and thankful beyond words! Sunday's we met in the mess Hall for church. They provided so many things to do for kids to learn and grow. I don't have a single bad thing to say ... Can you invite me back?? 🙏 I found a little piece of my heart here, a family like atmosphere. This place is a hidden jem. I hope it never goes away, and continues to change lives like...

Pot hole Tecumseh...... Broke my bumper coming into the place with a huge pot hole coming into the place......... My daughter goes here not by choice........ Daughter doesn't eat when she comes here because the food is disgusting and served frozen. They have kids working in the kitchen making and serving the food. I'm sure OSHA doesn't know about this. The buildings are dirty and need some serious cleaning. The intentions are good but the safety of the kids is Def...
