Terrible experience My honest and sincere suggestion, look for some place else, why? It’s a bit of a harsh/sad story happened during our long weekend trip, Read on: The owner’s first impression was nice and welcoming, we had a reservation for us and our guest who would join with a day delay, and along the talk they asked, which nationality you are? Once they noticed we are Middle Eastern, suddenly they changed their tone and there were no welcome tone or friendly talk. So rude and disrespectful. We ignored the racism as we were in shock and tried to enjoy our long weekend. Usually there is no one in the office if you need assistance, also there is no reception to call them when you need them, but they are always around to spy on you and make you uncomfortable. Literally every 2-3 hours they would sneak behind the trees and check on us. A few times I greeted them with a hello sir, so they would know we are aware if them spying. We had a guest coming in and they were closed, so he joined us while we were waiting for them to do their every 2-3 hours checks so we can register our friend. Once he came, furiously, with the rudest attitude he shouted that we are deceiving him and we should leave the property for having a guest(which we had informed them in advance) He asked for 100$ cash as bribe so he would let us stay (even though we had a reservation and everything…) And in the morning after making additional deposit and finishing the registration of our guest and paying in advance all the fees, they called police and evicted us. The police report also mentioned that the owner asked us to be removed from the property arbitrarily without any reason although they were paid in full. They didn’t even let us dispose the garbage we had packed after cleaning the place, and we had to take the garbage to town to dispose it just to make our trip harder. We will definitely fight them and get our money back. All in all, if you happened to go there i hope you enjoy your stay, and hopefully you wouldn’t face this harsh racism and inappropriate behaviors.

This a field made into a campground. There are a couple unlevel pull through sites. We were here for one night but had to disconnect to get it level front to back. Nothing is numbered. There is electric and water but no dump. They charge you to dump. Nothing is said about charging to dump on their website until you get here. Then they tell you. It was quiet and if you have children, there is a nice playground. They were nice and will tell you NOT to follow Google GPS instructions as there are curvy narrow roads and a couple low clearance bridges. It makes for a difficult time getting to and from the campground. In fact the road leading to 78 was closed when we left. They detoured us to a road with an 11ft8in clearance bridge. A lot of campers would not have cleared. Ours cleared by 6 inches. Thankfully. Too nerve wracking to come back.

Loved it! So rustic but so clean and well maintained. Has walking trails around the fields that are so nice. Making the reservation Doug was super nice and worked out the best site for what I wanted. I have a camper, but its a teardrop and only needs electric to run some lights and the fan so i asked about the 15 amp sites instead of the higher amperage ones. The site did NOT disappoint. Site 59 was secluded and so quiet. Loved it. Will 100% be back. All of the staff I worked with were really nice. Most of the wooded sites for large campers do appear to already be occupied by seasonals. There was a review where racism was mentioned. Just for another view: My husband is Latino born abroad with a heavy accent and he had absolutely no issues when he came a day late and talked to the people in the office.

I do not recommend this camp to anyone. Tim, the owner of this camp is prejudiced and very offensive. As soon as we arrived to the camp, he began to make comments about my nationality and the issues he had with people of my nationality in the past. He didn’t say it directly, but by his facial expressions and tone of voice said it all - we were not welcome there. And it only got worse after that. One night, the owner came up to us and said that it was after 10pm and we were being too loud. He didn’t say it nicely, he sounded very hostile, so we got into a bit of an argument with him. He said that he was going to check back on us again and we better only “whisper”. Being that we observed that he was constantly spying on us from day one, my friend finally asked him: “so are you going to stand behind a tree and watch us now?”, to which the owner replied: “yes, I am going to stand behind a tree and play with myself!”. We were stunned to hear this! He said it in the presence of women and two teenage girls from our group. It was disgusting! It was only after I told him how unprofessional he was that he apologized. Even though we didn’t see any other campers in the near proximity to us, we tried to be as respectful as possible to avoid any problems, but considering that we had 14 people in our group, it was unreasonable to demand that we only “whisper” around the fire pit. There were other issues too. One day, when my friend drove a few yards up the road on his motorcycle, the owner chased him down on his quad bike and began to yell at him that he did not have a helmet on. When my friend tried to explain that he was not driving off and just wanted to check if there were bathrooms there, the owner said that he didn’t believe him. Yet, the owner had zero problems with his 10 year old son driving a quad bike around the camp unsupervised (and without a helmet on) or hanging on the outside of a garbage truck in motion. We camp frequently and we never ever had any issues anywhere else. This was by far the worst camping experience for me...

This is a great campsite. The staff is friendly and nice. They even came out to show us where the hookups were when we couldn’t find them. The sites are nicely spaced out and you have a reasonable amount of privacy. We didn’t have problems with other guests bothering us or being inconsiderate. The bathrooms aren’t the most updated but they have flush toilets and showers. I love that they have 15 amp hookups (standard household outlets). So if you are tent or car camping, you can charge your devices. Many sites only have rv hookups so this is a great addition. We didn’t use these amenities but there are water hookups and dump stations. They have firewood for sale. During our visit, they had cute animals roaming in the area before you get to the sites as well as a playground. The are only a few downsides. The roads are kind of rough and uneven to drive on. The campsites are unmarked so you might have a hard time leaving and coming back. And there are no lights at nights except for the bathroom. I hope they mark the campsites with numbers in the future. P.S. another review mentioned being mistreated due to their race. We are an interracial couple (black/white) and did not...
