Alexandria Shooting Park — Hotel in Alexandria

Simple camping area, quite open except during large events when it gets packed. Easy to navigate. Prices are good and the people running the place are good hearted and work with you. They do have trap shooting throughout the day and sometimes the evening, with most of the shooters concentrated near the office, so keep that in mind when picking your spot.

Electric/water hookups, with showers and restrooms near the office. You can have fires here as I see them frequently, but I've no knowledge of their rules for this. Just south of town too if you are coming for a visit.

I brought my two teenage sons to Alexandria Shooting Park on a Sunday afternoon. It was their first time ever shooting trap. They were pretty nervous. All the employees were super friendly and helpful. Then Steve walked in, introduced himself and jumped in on helping them pick a gun that best suited them. He continued to help them and give them pointers through the whole experience. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding even though I know he had alot of other things going on in the business. My sons learned alot, had an awesome experience and are very excited about going back! Thankyou...

Lots of space here for all types of campers. There was a group of Winnebago ralliers there and they have a nice space to meet inside as well. The bathrooms were in good shape and nice hot water in the showers. Easy on and off from the highway. It's conveniently located by a variety of restaurants as well as Menards and Fleet Farm.
