I only give this place a one star, because of electrical, 3 amp ONLY!!!. OK WHERE DO I START. Dead grassy areas, the host says that the forestry service will not let him water???? The river is 10 feet away.. No RV water hook up, Oh, there's water avaliable but for only filling up your RV . Water Tank not to be used to hook up to the RV. The host says it's a contamination issue. No sewer hook up, yes there is a dump station. The Host is very nice, the park/camp ground is very DRY, . THIS place could be a very nice place with a little, forestry T,L,C. We are here in a Motorhome class A. 41 ft. I would, stay here again if, the place were groomed better. And up grade , electrical 30 amp , 50 amp, drinking water hook ups. Green grass, not dead grass. Other wise I'll just pass it by. Theses are my comments, you don't have to agree, or disagree. John . Aug 2016. Camp Host is diligent person. Dewy is doing a great job. The park grounds are the...

We stayed in a spot with electricity for a weekend and really loved our time there. There are two areas to this campground. The area with power doesn’t have much in the way of shade, unless you’re in the last spot, which we were. This area worked great for our Starlink. The area close to the river doesn’t have power, but is really covered by the trees. Both areas are big rig friendly. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and the electric hookups area was less than 10% full while the shaded area was completely full. The camp hosts were awesome and really friendly. They suggested some good rides, which we took advantage of. My only complaint would be the lack of grass in the area with electric hookups. Being that close to the river and all. Guess the USFS doesn’t see a need for it. Great place to watch bald and...

I only give this campground 1 star because I had to. The campground is horrible!! There is only one site for trailers any shade, and the family tent sites are right next to the road, although they are shaded all afternoon. Hopefully, they have a new camp host. We have not actually stayed in this campground for several years. The last time, the camp host was down right mean. The grass and weeds are kept mowed, but not watered. It is a sad site. Avoid it If possible. The boat ramp at Riverside Park, and the day use area, are great. The fishing is usually fairly good from the bank, and it is a great place to start your float down the river. Just stay away from...

The campground is fairly well maintained. Toward the latter part of the summer the areas that could be grass are pretty dry. The upper section of the campground does have electrical hookup (30amp) for some 10 spaces, however, the section closer to the river does not. None of the sites have water or sewer. Lots of the spaces along the river are double sites so the fee is double. I believe all the sites are first come first serve. The damn is just about 2000' South of the campground. Fishing access is perfect especially if you are launching a float boat.
