Blown away by the newest boutique hotel located in 30A. Its apart of thr Water Sound Community and comes with all the benefits of thr Watersound Club. Service was top notch, amenities were endless. My family and I spent the week of the 4th of July at Camp Creek with friends, and nearly every part of our visit was exceptional - until our interaction at the tennis club. I had heard amazing things about Alexa Guarachi and the tennis and pickleball staff, so I was genuinely excited for our lesson. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect the reputation I had heard. Despite the many wonderful regulars who frequent the courts, I felt like an outsider and not a valued guest. Alexa treated our time together as transactional and brief, insisting on cutting our lesson short. What hurt the most was the sense that she had already decided I wasn’t worth investing in, simply because I wasn’t a local or a familiar face. To make matters worse, she was unkind to my husband - who hadn’t even engaged with her but was quietly sitting nearby on the club porch. I’ve never left a negative public review before, but this experience was deeply disheartening. Camp Creek was a special and rare getaway for our family, and I truly wish the encounter had matched the warmth and hospitality we experienced elsewhere on the property.

We had an incredible family vacation at Camp Creek Inn. Although I think many of the doors in the room are sticking due to new paint, we had a flawless time. The pool and different water sections (lazy river) are amazing at Camp Creek Inn. The water depth was perfect for our five and three year old. The little things ended up being big things like water. easily available, self service coffee service and snack pantry. They were life savers. We split equal time at Watersound Beach club which was equally wonderful and accommodating. I appreciate the towel and chair service so much with enough items to carry. You definitely need to drive from Camp Creek to go to the beach. With little ones, we ate nearly all meals at 1936, Bark & Brine, and Beach Break all food was wonderful. The wait was super manageable when they do t have much patience waiting for food. The grouper tacos were worth the repeat. We were pleased and happy to reserve again one day.

An Exceptional Stay at Camp Creek Inn

As someone who has been vacationing in the 30A area regularly, typically once or twice a year for the past 28 years, I rarely hand out five-star reviews. Yet Camp Creek Inn deserves every bit of a five-star rating, and I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer.

Accommodation (Room 222 - Double Queen Room): My room overlooked the driving range, offering an engaging view as a golfer myself. The room’s cleanliness was astonishing. I genuinely felt comfortable walking barefoot, even in the hallways, a rare sentiment for even the finest resorts I've stayed at. Housekeeping visited multiple times daily, replacing towels every time, from bath towels to washcloths, ensuring a level of cleanliness and freshness that set a new standard for resorts. The thoughtful touches, like little chocolates on pillows, neatly folded pajamas, tidied shoes, constantly restocked fridge with beverages, and meticulously cleaned and restocked bathrooms elevated this experience to unparalleled heights. I must give a mention to Gweyo our housekeeper, truly the most amazing attention to detail and did the little things so right. I can't complement her enough.

Highlight – The Seersucker Robes: One of our absolute favorite amenities were the luxurious seersucker robes provided. So incredibly soft, stylish, and comfortable. It was pure bliss putting them on after a long day in the sun. Honestly, we wished we could take them home.

Staff and Service: The staff’s attentive nature truly elevated our stay. Joey deserves a particular mention for his genuine friendliness. I looked forward to seeing him each morning and talking about plans for the day and baseball. He made us feel more like friends rather than a hotel guest. This is a guy you need to meet and get to know, he was such an amazing part of our stay it wouldn’t have been the same without him. The concierge team was also outstanding, always ready and willing to assist.

Amenities: The Inn had nothing missing, towels and SunBum sunscreen were abundantly available throughout. Locker rooms were stocked thoughtfully with every toiletry imaginable. This is how it should be done.

Pool Area: The pool exceeded expectations, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and entertainment. The waterslide was fast and thrilling enough to delight both adults and kids. The lazy river flowed nice and fast, just how I like it. Perfect for a relaxing float. Poolside service from Bark and Brine was excellent; I strongly recommend their BBQ nachos and Tuna Poke Bowl, very refreshing. The pool area offered plush chairs and cabanas and organized interactive kids’ activities, providing opportunities for parents to a break as well. We didn't have kids to take advantage of these activities, but they were still enjoyable to watch.

Pickleball and Tennis: The courts were exceptional, particularly appealing for pickleball enthusiasts like us, with eight well-lit pickleball courts that were great for night play (something I recommend for the hot summer days.) The scented, iced towels after a hot match and accessible water stations demonstrated again how thoughtfully every detail had been considered. I can't comment on the tennis courts much since I don't play but their clay courts looked very nice and were always busy with players.

Golf Courses: With access to three premium golf courses, Camp Creek, Shark’s Tooth, and The Third, golf lovers like me are truly spoiled here. Camp Creek, located on property, was beautifully maintained with fast large greens and meticulous tee boxes (another thing I am a stickler about.) Shark’s Tooth, my personal favorite, offered stunning views all along Lake Powell. The food, drinks, and an amazing wood-fired pizza truck at Camp Creek made playing golf a wonderful experience.

We’ll undoubtedly return to Camp Creek Inn and strongly urge anyone considering it to book...

From the moment you arrive at Camp Creek Inn, you are greeted with Southern hospitality and incredible service. The bellmen are attentive and have your luggage in your room before you finish checking in. The front desk staff is gracious and greets you with a smile every time you walk through the lobby. They remember details about you, which makes you feel all the more special — as if the beautiful hotel is not enough! Nicole, the director of lodging, is always around to ensure that our stay is smooth and that our every need is taken care of. She is dedicated, polite, and you can tell that her employees respect her leadership. ||The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and extraordinarily well-kept. The bed is heavenly, and the duvet is fluffy yet not too warm, which is absolutely perfect. For our nightly turn-down, we were met with chocolate-covered caramels sprinkled with sea salt, the perfect treat after a long day lounging at the beach or pool club.||Aside from the incredible service and kind staff the hotel really shone with the amenities. Each floor is equipped with a “treat suite” which is so unique and absolutely perfect in every way. The suite was stocked with snacks, drinks and ice cream and was open 24/7 for us to enjoy. It was hard walking by without getting a fresh drink or little treat for the road! ||The outdoor amenities leave nothing to be desired. From a gym with top of the line work out equipment, fun classes and cold brew on tap to the two pool areas (adults only for a quite serene place to read a book, relax or swim laps and a big family pool with a lazy river and a slide), tennis and pickle ball courts and a stunning golf course there is something for everyone at camp creek inn. The waitstaff at the pool are just another example of what sets this hotel apart from others. We had the pleasure of being taken care of frequently by Shae and Tricia no matter where we were whether floating along in the lazy river or lounging around at the adult pool, they always knew where to find us just when we were ready for a new refreshment. They were present but not overbearing and always upbeat and pleasant to chat with. ||The beach club was yet another oasis, just a quick shuttle ride away. The club felt private and tranquil and offered the same quality of service and incredible amenities we had at the hotel. ||From the bottom of our hearts, thank you camp creek inn, for a serene little bit of paradise where we could unwind from our busy lives and be present in the moment to enjoy the beauty of...

My family and I stayed at camp creek for 5 nights, and overall it was a wonderful stay. The staff was welcoming, professional and friendly and made us feel as if we were the only guests there. From the valet parking, to the welcome champagne, to the snack pantry, and robes & slippers in the room + highly quality linens- camp creek has many small details that made our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the amenities in the wellness center, and the basketball court and soccer area. My husband and son also had a wonderful time golfing. For food, we dined at 1936 and our server, Charles was awesome. Our food was delicious, and it was a good value. We dined at Bark & Brine and they had a great selection of drinks, and food. We all enjoyed our meals, especially the chicken wings. We also dined at ANR, and this was mainly what caused me not to rate the hotel 5 stars. It was extremely disappointing. There was a table full of local influencers sitting behind us, and the head chef was out chatting with them, and the manager went over to chat with them several times, whilst my steak was prepared wrong not once, but twice. Never once did the manager stop by our table to offer an apology, or the chef stop by and make it right. I ended up having mashed potatoes for dinner since they couldn’t cook a steak properly, and were too consumed with the influencers behind us. It left a poor taste in my mouth, and made us feel very undervalued as guests. A few other things worth noting- I asked for our room to be deep cleaned prior to our arrival due to sensitivity with dust, yet there was hair in bathroom drawers, and in showers upon arrival. I had to ask for a re-clean. Our hot water didn’t work upon arrival, and maintenance wasn’t in since it was a holiday, so we didn’t have hot showers until day 2. There is no water extractor anywhere on property for swimwear, which was shocking to me. The hours of many places on property are inconsistent, and don’t make sense to me. Example- some pools close at 4, some at 5, slide is “closed for the season”, the restaurant closes at 3, etc. It’s confusing, and hard to follow. The pools aren’t heated like we were told on the phone multiple times prior to our arrival. The adult pool is heated, and the pools at the beach club (10 min drive), and that’s it. Overall, we will stay here again, just will avoid ANR for future, and we will now know...
