Our family had an amazing long weekend at Possum Trot. We were there to celebrate two milestone birthdays and Judith went above and beyond to ensure the trip was memorable. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, even better than the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed both properties and spent a lot of time together in the lodge in front of the fireplace but also had plenty of room to spread out when we wanted. The décor is lovely and the personal touches are so interesting I could have spent hours taking it all in. Judith had everything ready for our arrival so that we were able to immediately relax and enjoy our time together. She was always just a text or call away for any questions. They prepared a delicious birthday meal and everything from the grazing table, to the meal, and the table setting in the sunroom were exquisite. It was so nice to just be able to celebrate the occasion and have everything taken care of. I would highly recommend taking advantage of this offering. The one thing that was not on our side that weekend and that was out of our control was the weather. Judith made sure we had everything we needed to cope with the rain and the wind. And when we unexpectedly lost power, she jumped into action and found alternative (and stunningly beautiful) accommodations to make sure my older parents were comfortable. We are already talking about returning to Possum Trot and cannot wait to add to the stories and memories we made. BEWARE SCAM!! We stayed at Possum Trot and it’s sister property Foxtrot with our wedding parties for our recent wedding weekend. The houses are beautiful and super close to the venue and we left feeling very good about our stay until we got home and had an email from Judith Paixao (the property manager) stating that our wedding party had caused damage to the property and a bill for almost $600. Judith provided pictures of said damages that were cropped and when asked to send pictures with time stamps she refused. Then again two days later we received another email citing more damages and asking for more money. My husband and I found this suspicious and after some light digging into Judith we found that her and her husband have been convicted on multiple accounts of fraud in multiple states including defrauding the wounded marines project for hundreds of thousands of dollars. We contacted the property owner (Foxie Morgan) about our concerns as well and received no response.
