Read moreBe careful! Have been staying at holiday camplands for 20 years now. It has been a wonderful place.. They have a lot of activities and things to go do that a regular campground does not. Yard sales, concerts, pools, multiple snack shops, a store, a library, a teen area and so much more. However I feel that in recent years there has been a lot more racism publicly in holiday camplands and nothing done about it. A racist symbol was painted at the trash area. My dark skinned siblings have been called racial slurs. At our last trip to holiday a grown adult followed around my dark skinned sibling and continually threatened him and said he didn't belong. Security is a joke. They harass people who are not breaking the rules during the day and frequently ignore people making disturbances during quiet hours. That being said the employees are all friendly. The camplands is clean. I think most of my issues stem from other campers but i have seen no response from holiday at the clear racism...
Read moreI really enjoyed the holiday campgrounds. There was everything there you can possibly imagine like a little town all to its campers. I was actually glamping on a holiday vacation. They have swimming pools golf course laundry they even offer free gravel Stone there were so many things I can't even remember also right next to two lakes plenty of boating general Store everything you can possibly imagine and more! Close enough to go into Cherry valley where the Amish have a store that has everything you can imagine bulk foods fresh produce and Amish furniture that was a really good time and of course many souvenirs to bring home.
