3.5 on the lake and worst than 000 on staff. So last week I went to this campground for the 3rd time, my past experiences were alright, but last week was just straIght up TERRIBLE. First, we got there around 9:30 PM, nobody were at the gate to stop us to check us in. So we went inside to find our campsites without any directions. Second, I don't see any staff at all roaming around at night. I don't care if it's weekdays but you got to have a staff roaming around every once in a while for the safety of the campers. We got kicked out without any warnings to keep our noise down. Of course we tried keeping our noise down but it seemed fine nobody was checking on us. We were fixing our tents, coz we just got there, then prepared our food and drinks. We finished setting up and eating around 2 AM, then 2:30, half of us were already sleeping and some of us are just cleaning up, this car was like flying towards our campsite then stopped a lady came out aggressively and her first sentence was "You guys need to pack it up you guys are leaving at 5 am." -- First of all, you can't be putting a speed limit sign on every corner if your staff(old lady) can't follow it. Second, the owner(Mark) snapped and decided to kick us out without any warning from his staffs. Shouldnt you question your staffs first if they are doing their jobs before making a decision to kick out a group without getting any warning? Then this lady just left because we were cleaning up. I thought everythings fine we're not gonna get kicked. And then we slept, in the morning we were about to make our breakfast, this lady came back using a golf kart with two staffs that supposed to be roaming around that night not in the morning. So she told us that her boss which is Mark decided we can't stay anymore. And she kept going back and forth to our campsite. They were basically harrassing us to leave, threatened us that they would call the sheriff if we don't leave. We talked to them as nice as we can but they were just rude, threatening aggressive staff. We werent doing anything except being pretty loud without any warning from the staff to deserve this kind of treatment from this management. Then after that I talked to one of the guy staff, we worked things out I told him to give us less than 2 hours to pack up, to find a nearby campsite and eat real quick before going. He said he's fine with my deal. And I told him if they called the sheriff I honestly don't mind because we know we didnt do anything but to be loud and at the same time I wanna express our horrible experience on that campground. Aside from being a rude and harrassing, staff don't do their jobs. Then right when I said I don't mind if they call the sheriff, after that the old lady came back and start writing down the plate numbers of our cars. She didnt even bother to ask before writing it down she just kept going. That was really HARASSING. Then she told us that she wasn't sure if we're gonna get our refund. Are you serious? We spent a lot of time, effort and money on this trip not to be disrespectful to the campers and the staffs, but to have fun. If you guys are doing your job, none of it would've happened. I totally understand the owner, but the staffs didn't made sense to me at all. The staffs were like "WE HEARD YOU GUYS LAST NIGHT YOU WERE REALLY LOUD." Which makes me question them WHY YOU DIDNT GIVE US A WARNING WHEN YOU HEARD OUR NOISE? SERIOUSLY??? No warnings, then we were about to go to our tents to sleep then this old lady came kicking us out. You guys don't make sense. No considerations, not taking care of your campsites, not maintaining your bathrooms clean, a bad customer service over the phone, especially that rude, harassing, incosiderable OLD LADY, the lazy staffs that won't roam around at night for some reason which I really can't understand why but okay I guess. And MARK should start questioning his staff. Doesn't make sense to me til now everything that happened on that particular day which makes me decide that I would never go back to that campground and I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ALL OF YOU GUYS THAT ARE TRYING TO FIND A CAMPSITE. RUDE STAFF, DIRTY BATHROOMS, UNORGANIZED PLACE. THIS PLACE IS A NO NO!!!! I don't post reviews at all, but when I do, I...

RESPONSE: since I can’t reply to your comment. We played music one time & at about 10pm & the second you guys said to turn off we did so. We were not warned 4 times we were only warned 2 times and the second time we didn't have music on. If your going to in-force the rules as you say you do make sure you do it equally to all campsites because as stated we were the only site in our area being told something when multiple people were loud until as late as 2 am. You guys pick & choose who you wanna in force rules too. Your claiming we ignore them when we in fact didn’t but because it was our first time there. Don’t try to lie to make our reviews look false.

Worst experience camping. I've been camping every years as a family reunion for the last 15 plus years and this has been the WORST yet. We are a Mexican family. The day I checked in I was given a paper with rules and a map cool not a problem but what bothered me the most was the little snob attitude from the employee who said to make sure I read it and emphasized one the QUITE TIME. In which made me uncomfortable because what she just assumed we were going to be loud or something by looking at us cause she didn't say nothing about anything else didn't even direct us on where to go when I asked. Secondly there camp grounds for campsites are crappy. NO SHADE. They advertise photos of the general sites during the spring time not summer. Our first night there a family had got to there sites at 11:45pm ish WAY passed quite time, but instead of setting up camp quickly and quietly they were up until 3 AM playing LOUD rave music yelling back and forth at each other and yet NO ONE said anything to them as there was a baby at my site and a baby from another site who both woke up crying due to how loud they were. But yet my family was sitting In a group at our site as well as other people behind me just talking and laughing at 10:45pm ish and we get threatened to get kicked out ???? My uncle is partially deaf in one ear so sometimes he may sound a little loud but the noise was not exceeding out campsite as their rules state. To discriminate against disabled people is ridiculous. We pay to go on vacation to enjoy ourselves not be given a bed time especially when it's still 95 degrees outside hot as hell at 10pm at night of course we are not going to be in a hot tent. If no one was complaining cause we in fact asked our neighbors if we were being to loud and they told us no to enjoy our time because our noise what not loud we had NO music it was just a family talking. What more of a power trip does this worker need to make people feeling unhappy and discriminated against. I'm thankful my little who has autism left early from the trip because what if the child was being a child with her disability would he have threaten to kick us out then to ? people pay money to enjoy themselves not to be yelled at for talking. After this incident the same night and hour later so 11:45pm there was a group of younger people who were in deed white about 6 campsites over so up the hill from where we were at and we can hear there WHOLE conversation, they kept shining a bright light at everyone's campsite and talking and laughing LOUD to the point someone from another site even yelled for them to be quite but yet when this little power trip of a worker rode by on his little golf cart he said NOTHING matter of fact they even waved at him. They were up making so much loud noise until 2 am and he didn't say one thing but us a group of Mexicans are sitting around talking not disturbing anyone we get threatened to get kicked out. RUINED our trip completely to the point some of us even left 2 days early cause we didn't want to deal with the bull crap. The only nice thing was the lake and yet the bad still out ways the good so it honestly doesn't even matter how great the lake was because of how shitty the environment and energy is from the worker we had the whole time. I'll never be coming back and trust and believe my family won't ever be coming back and we'd never recommend this...

UPDATED RESPONSE 7/16/2024 11:05AM Thank you for your response, which I find quite rude. Your level of professionalism as a responder is disappointing, and I am dismayed that this interaction will be seen by others reading the reviews of this campground. Let me correct you regarding the lack of training your employees seem to have. Firstly, I was unaware of the additional restrooms because your team failed to provide that information. No maps were given. If this information had been relayed to me, I would have been better informed. My family is not the only one in your Google reviews to mention the absence of fire pits at campsites. Perhaps if you visited your campground more frequently, you would be aware of these issues. Additionally, the noise level from my group was very respectful. It seems you have misunderstood the situation, as there was significant noise after 1am, but it did not originate from our group. Your team members did not approach us at any point to address noise levels, so it is essential that you have your facts straight. We made every effort to follow the rules.

If I could rate this campground with zero stars, I would. My recent stay was incredibly frustrating due to several issues that significantly impacted my families enjoyment.

Firstly, the organization of the campground spots is abysmal. Upon check-in, they issued a hang mirror pass that we had to return after our stay. This unnecessary step added inconvenience right from the start. (Keep in mind it was just a piece of paper you can throw away).

The lack of facilities was also a major problem. There is only one shower location with just two stalls for the entire campground. I had to wait over an hour in line, which is completely unacceptable, especially on a hot day. The showers were FILTHY.

Moreover, the shower system requires inserting dollar bills into a slot machine for less than three minutes of shower time. This felt like an outdated and impractical method.

Throughout the campground, only porta-potties are available, with no designated restroom areas or portable handwashing stations nearby. This setup is not only inconvenient but also unhygienic.

Furthermore, the campground lacks shade, and our site was infested with cockroaches. Some tent sites didn't even have fire pits, which is basic for any camping experience.

The campground's strict lights-out policy was enforced rigorously, making it uncomfortable for us. Despite this, other campers around us were playing loud music after 1am, while we had to keep noise levels down due to constant patrolling.

Overall, this campground falls short in terms of amenities, organization, and comfort. I would not recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful family...

Lake Tulloch was beautiful! especially mid week. I think it would be way too overcrowded if the campground was full. Got to use my inflatable kayak and see other sides of the lake. I definitely recommend floating out on the water somehow because the campground lacks a dog friendly beach. It was crazy dusty out there and spent all weekend watching my camp neighbors water down the dirt lol Not sure if this is my favorite place, but I will return! Great price on full hook up spots, and extra friendly deer! #wildlife #camping #camp #traveltrailer #roadtrip #explore #travel #laketulloch #lake #kayak #inflatablekayak #california #summer2023 #fyp #foryou #tiktok
