PRO - the room was very clean and neat. The decor was updated and modern; bed was super comfortable. The hotel was situated in an isolated area so the surrounding was very quiet, calm, and serene. ||||CON - front desk clerk named Sammy! A misbooking of rooms happened and rather than trying to problem-solve, she was trying her best to argue that she was in the right! When the argument escalated, I requested to speak with the manager, Sammy claimed manager does not come on site, not that day and not the next. She ignored my inquiries and continued to finish my booking with attitude, like I was an annoyance/nuisance to her.||||Since Sammy did not perform duties correctly, I was never advised where the pool was located and what hotel amenities were available. I had to wander around to locate the pool (it was off site), and I was not aware there was a charge for bottled water. When I took the water, Sammy was ON like Donkey Kong and accused me of stealing water! She lectured me that I had to inform her of that so she could charge me accordingly! ||||When I was checking out, OH NO, Sammy AGAIN! She did not greet me, did not even look at me, NOTHING. I had to ask her what my total bill and itemized items were. Without taking her eyes off the computer screen, she curtly stated “you’ll get an email of your bill.”||||Manager - you have to be on-site because 1) you have to observe/train/supervise Sammy and 2) someone with authority and who can make decisions need to be present to problem solve. You owe me a phone call!||||I have traveled extensively domestically and internationally; I’ve stayed at 5-star resorts to budget-friendly accommodations (from 4 Seasons to Holiday Inn), and I’ve NEVER, EVER been treated with such disrespect, disdain, and degradation as I have by Sammy from the...

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
