I’ve had the opportunity to stay at Lost Lake RV Park on three separate occasions now, and I have mixed feelings about it. Let me start with the positives: the park is generally quiet and offers a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. The bathrooms are always clean, which is a big plus, and there's plenty of laundry facilities. The pool is well-maintained and a great place to relax, especially with the scenic view of the lake. It's also nice to see a pair of cranes that live on the property, adding a touch of wildlife to the peaceful setting. The maintenance staff is one of the best features of the park. They are professional, quick to respond, and attentive to resolving any issues. The owner is friendly, but unfortunately, his interest in maintaining the park seems to have faded, and I think that’s taking a toll on the overall experience. The park has definitely started to show signs of neglect, which is disappointing considering the higher prices. Now, the not-so-good aspects: The price for a 30-amp site has skyrocketed from $650 to $800 a month, and frankly, that’s just too high for what you're getting. There have been no noticeable improvements to justify the hike. The owner seems ready to sell, and it feels like he's given up on making any more improvements. This lack of care is evident, especially with the interpersonal issues in the office. The staff seems disorganized, with one woman refusing to use the new computer system, resulting in chaos and two separate sets of books – one electronic and one on paper. This has led to mistakes like double bookings and errors in billing, including problems with electric charges. There’s also some confusion about the available sites. According to the park map, there should be more 50-amp sites available, but in reality, these are reserved for permanent residents, and only 30-amp sites are offered. Lastly, while the park is mostly quiet, there have been some unsettling incidents during my stays. One involved a man crashing his car in what seemed to be a drug-related situation, and another involved a man in his 40s passing away unexpectedly. Additionally, there are strange gatherings of people in the parking lot, though I’m not sure what they're for, which adds to the overall odd vibe of the park. Lost Lake RV Park has a lot of potential, but with the recent price increases and lack of proper management, it feels like it’s heading in the wrong direction. The maintenance staff and the setting are great, but the owner’s apparent disinterest and the office chaos make it hard to recommend at this price point.

An impromptu trip to Orlando led us to find this RV park. I had been looking for an RV park on the north side of Orlando to avoid I-4 traffic. The park was ok for our needs to have a full hook up site for us to sleep at. However, only a 30 Amp was available, which was not a problem. The park seems geared more toward long-term RV'ers. The pool was not in service because it was only half full of water. The one-way roads were not one way because a chain was across the exit, so you would have to go back the other way. The roads are not the best. The sewer hook up was almost in the path of my 5th wheel tires. I had to back in and parallel park due to a tree in the front of the lot (lot 44). I don't believe they have many pull through lots, and I know they only have a few 50 amp lots. The lot was dirt with a pad on one side that would likely be pretty muddy if it rained. Check-in was easy. It was quiet at night. We did not use any other services or amenities, so I can not speak for those. The price was $50 daily, and we stayed 3 nights. I would stay here again for a similar short trip.

I suggest driving by before you stay. The pictures on the website are misleading. Also there are alot of very old rvs in bad shape there. They charge you up front for monthly stays and dont refund your money if you change your mind or your rv doesn't fit where they put you. (Nobody let us know anyway). We are full time RVers and most RV parks don't operate this way.

About the park: This park is small and quiet as long as you don’t get a site up front near the busy road. It has less than 100 sites, most are fairly wide with shade trees but there are some in the back that have full sun. The park is rather old and you can immediately tell that it hasn’t been updated in many years. Most of the sites are only 30 amp electrical service. The few 50 amp sites are occupied with long time camper’s . Most of those are really older run down looking RV’s. The roads are in very bad condition with broken edges and many poorly patched sections. The electrical boxes are old and rusted looking but seem to work okay. My sewer connection was extremely close to the space allocated for my rv. And was uphill from my rv connection, which made dumping the tank difficult. Each site has a concrete patio but they all have broken edges that make for serious tripping hazards. Another example of lack of maintenance. The pool is nice however there are two creepy looking Blue’s Brother statues that make you feel like you’re being watched. The bathroom and showers are probably the nicest thing about the place. Clean and newly renovated. ||The staff is another thing. The manager doesn’t seem to know how to run the business very attentively. I witnessed her sleeping at her desk upon several times that I went into the office. And although there is a speed limit in the park she drives around in her golf cart like she is in a nascar race. The owner has no business sense whatsoever. He is rude and obnoxious to just about everyone. He uses inappropriate language towards the staff and anyone he thinks is not following his rules. It doesn’t matter if customers or children are within earshot. It’s very disturbing and several people in the park commented that they just try to stay away from him. ||I’ve never stayed in a park with this kind of behavior and wouldn’t recommend making a reservation here. I’ve heard that it may be up for sale. Hopefully under new ownership this place could become the jewel that it wants desperately to be. It is located within an easy driving distance of many Orlando attractions which is nice. But until they make some improvements, I won’t be...

Where to start...... this was the worst Rv park we stayed in EVER! First off the assistant manager that works there was very unwelcoming! they drive around on a golf cart watch Everything you do! Other residents that live here have tape holding the walls of their (campers if you want to call them that) they have junk in their yards and yet they tattle (as if this place is a gold mine) on the actual RV stayers for anything they can find. The POOL is located where people come and go so no privacy or place to just relax (again placed so everyone can watch your every move) the pool is so cold no one swims in it, not to mention it's has the tiles falling off and concrete is so bad it doesn't even look like it is actually holding the handle to get the pool? We stuck our feet in the cold water and decided to maybe just sit poolside and it was then, we noticed not a good idea to be wet on the chairs unless you want to look like a Smurf, The chairs are blue and chalky so it sticks to you!! There is no security here to get in or out of the park so anyone can come in! It is noisy seeing your right by the main road can hear loud vehicles, as well as thumping music, this is also a church that boarders the park that likes to leaf blow its entire parking lot at 7 in the morning. We had no water 2 times do to a water leak in main line, no one from office bothered letting us know another resident informed us! The laundry room is a dump machines are old and just feels dirty, therefore we ended up going to local laundry facilities. They also have a rude and unnecessary sign letting you know they will THROW your clothes away if not removed from machine on time! Their pet policy is ridiculous no dog over 30 lbs, yet those little ankle biting, yippers are acceptable ? We have never come across an RV park with this rule. I would never recommend this place to anyone, if you see a sign that looks like it was written for a...
