Apple Valley Hotel & Lodge — Hotel in Apple Valley

This place is horrible! I called to set up a room for another person, made it very clear that person did not have money or their own debit card. I asked if there would be any issues with her check in and if there were any other fees, and was informed she wouldnt have to pay anything at check in.She goes to check in and calls me crying because the guy in there was exramly rude and threw her ID at her, so I called and spoke to the guy who was extremely hostile the moment he picked up the phone, i was informed about a 100 hold fee that I was not told about in the morning, I offered to pay the fee over the phone and was rejected. Then I was berated over the note in expedia that says they charge a 100$ check in fee, I told him I sopke to a guy in the morning and was told "different guy, that was not me, if you want a refund file online" so I did. The property declined my refund. Got charged for a stay we didnt get to even use, my sister was telled at and humilited infront of other guests. DO NOT STAY HERE! ITS HORRIBLE. We Stayed for 2 nights due to a gas leak at our place and the Manager got us in quick and easy🙏🏻 🤗 it was Very Clean, Comfortable, Quiet and Roomy🙏🏻🤗. We had the 2 Queen Suite🙏🏻🙌 it had a long table area with a chair which was nice to store things and they had a closet for all your luggage and a tv stand with drawers also to put your things in so lots of storage space.💯🙏🏻🙌 The bathroom is big only downside was no tub but we made it work so no big deal 🙏🏻🤗 they have a mini fridge and microwave, ice bucket and cups so it was easy to bring food and to reheat if needed or get ice from down the hall for drinks.🙏🏻🤗 Overall our Stay was Great 💯🙌and the Manager at the service counter was very polite and nice. If you should so happen to find yourself in the middle of this soul sucking vortex (Apple Valley, High Desert areas) and need somewhere to crash this recently remodeled hotel and lodge is pretty decent. They are definitely still doing work around the place, the interior carpets could stand to be replaced, but the place is very clean, the bed was comfortable though the pillows probably need replacing... Overall, I can't complain too much... They were open late (checked in at 2:30 am) and the cost was a little inflated, but what place isn't these days? I'd definitely stay again in a pinch.
