My story aligns with so many others. A tale of a parents vacation spot, traversing through the generations, in one of the most magical places on earth. Black Mountain Ranch will grab you, it will hug you, and it will make you never want to leave. My parents held a spot here for 12 years, and when they announced they were giving it up, we knew what had to be done. I didn't grow up on the ranch like so many others, but it stays dear to my heart forever anyways, deciding almost immediately to make sure this spot never leaves our family. We sold our house and had nowhere to go for a month while our new house closed. My mom offered to let us stay at the ranch. We had been once previously, but only briefly, and not in an awesome time in our lives. We were uncertain how we would feel staying at the ranch for that amount of time. Something about arriving there at peak summer, enjoying the concert in the park, and experiencing the rest of the amazing people at BMR, convinced us immediately that we needed to buy a spot there.
