DISGUSTING & REVOLTING ..Village Inn booked me into a room on Sept. 28, 2024 where someone else was already staying (photos attached) yet the woman working the front desk handed me a key card to their room anyway. When I told her this, she assigned me another room key card. When I opened the door to the second room, cockroaches scattered everywhere ..across the carpet, on top of doorways, literally everywhere. I wanted to throw up. When this place was booked I was told it was a hotel, not a motel. When I got there it looked like a type of half-way house for parolees and drug users who have nowhere else to go (two people were smoking meth on the sidewalk in front of the room next to me). Feel free to stay here is you enjoy filth and disease-carrying insects.

Absolutely disgusting. Room was "non-smoking" but it reaked of cigarettes and there was an ashtray on the night stand. Nothing looked like it had been cleaned, beds were old and in bad shape, TV remote had a thick layer of grime and what looked like cobwebs on it, carpet had stains and tears, curtains had holes in it and the toilet seat had black stains on it. I spent all day at Sandy Point for a music festival and really wanted to take a shower but I didn't feel comfortable getting in the shower. I saw no signs of renovations in mine or my friend's room except for maybe pallets and stacks of boxes outside some of the rooms. This place shouldn't charge more then $50 a night because you would get what you paid for. Paying $200 was a complete waste of money.

When we first went to check and the older gentleman that was kind a bald on top was very rude, we asked him to accompany us to see the room before renting his answer was no because he could not leave the office. My fiancé asked couldn’t he just lock up the office and again the answer was no. So we paid the fee for renting for a night, upon entering the room my fiancé noticed that the blanket As well as the sheets smell like urine. There was also hair everywhere on the bed sheets and the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. So when the staff finally decided to clean the room they accused us of smoking in and having the room smell like smoke when we were only there for a quick second and clearly someone else had been smoking there because of the burn stains on the microwave. We finally laid down after the bedding was changed and went to sleep, so when it was checkout time we wanted to stay but Again they still accused us of having the room smell like smoke And wanted $100 deposit. So we left and my fiancé forgot her medicine, the lady at the front desk did not care to look for it, she claimed That the room was cleaned and if anything were left behind it would be in the office. So when my fiancé finally convinced her to check the medicine was still in the room inside the drawer where she left it. Upon leaving they then claimed my fiancé and I stole their pillows. I would not recommend this place to any human being, not even an alien. Very poor customer service. And the older gentleman at the desk the first night we checked made a racist remake about Americans. On day number two when my fiancé was explaining to the lady at the front desk that she has chemo treatment and could not be around smoke, the Lady said “ I didn’t care about her wounds or what you’re going through.” It’s a very nice way to treat a cancer patient!!!!! While standing there arguing with the lady at the desk about the deposit a Spanish gentleman and his wife wanted to view a room before renting and they were allowed to do so. Wish I could give this place -5 stars. Sorry for the long story but it had to be put...

I reserved a room through booking.com. Although the hotel sign claims they have rooms for $54.99 I could only find this nasty room available during the Seafood Festival for over $90.00. I specifically made a note for the hotel to note that I'd have a late arrival and would be there after the festival ends after 9:00 pm. While at the festival I received a late call from the Village Inn asking me if I still was going to stay at the room. I advised them that I shall be there after 9pm. I tried to leave after checking in and another tenant told me the clerk wanted me to wait. Then she had this stranger had me extra towels. Needless to say, we never bothered using those towels. The outside of the room was very rundown and seemed like it hadn't been changed since the 60's. The outside door had thrown on old stain that was running down the door. Upon entering the room smelled badly like urine. We found the bathroom toilet became easily clogged up, which must be causing the urine smell due to overflowing and never being cleaned. The bathroom was so dirty there was actual dirt around the bathtub and walls. It was disgusting. The carpet was like the floors in a old run down theatre. There was stains all over the floor, and one very large stain at the foot of one of the beds. Both beds were equally nasty. There were stains all over the covers and sheets. We actually placed our own sheets over the beds and slept on them with no covers. My 13 year old daughter tried to sleep in the leather desk chair all night because she refused to use the disgusting bed. The bed was also very lumpy and made for a bad back for a good week. Oh, and the walls were completely stained and very filthy. The wall near the one bed had huge stains of something that had been thrown against the wall and dripped down to the floor. I've stayed in many hotels all over the world and this was by far the worst one I ever had the displeasure of staying in. No one should ever have to stay in these terrible conditions, especially a family. This hotel should be condemned or at least shut down by the...

OK, OK you might not want to bring the wife and kids. On the outside it looks like a U Store It facity. BUT inside the rooms is a different story. King sized bed, huge room, long desk with several chairs, microwave, refrigerator. Impeccably clear, great bathroom with wolk in shower. ||If you are a bussiness traveler, why stay at overpriced downtown hotels when you could stay here. I was in town on business, did work with several clients and co-workersw in the room at the extended desk, it is on the wall so people can't sit around it, but three of us easily worked with a central computer.||Frankly, if your wife values value over exterior looks, again this is the place. In spite of its industrial exterior, the rooms are charming, spacious, and well appointed. The two hundred or so bucks a night you save can buy her a great dinner downtown. ||I am a 67 year old man, so understand my perspective, a businesswoman or young couple would definately enjoy this place, neighborhood is very safe, 2 minutes from the freeway, 1/2 hour from BWI.||I am so sorry it took me this long to find this hidden gem. Goodby to gouging airport hotel fees or downtown Annapolis overpriced rooms a third of the size...
